ALEJO SAURAS: AGE, CURRENT PARTNER AND BIOGRAPHY OF THE GUEST OF ‘PASAPALABRA’
Born in Mallorca in 1979, his professional future was headed towards a world very different from acting. His dream, as he revealed in La Resistencia, was to be an aviation pilot, although he could not fulfill it by a few diopters.
Despite everything, he studied electronics and avionics, managing to pass the opposition to work at the Iberia company, when it was still a public company. Although he was heading towards it, he decided to focus on the acting world, in which he had started at a very young age.
Alejo Sauras made his first steps on television with series like Menudo es mi padre, Compañeros and A las once en casa, where he coincided with Lidia San José . Until then he had small episodic roles.
He became a well-known face thanks to his role in ‘Al salir de clase’, which was a real revolution at that time, when it was not yet common to see homosexual characters in television series. Santi’s character of hers became one of her most beloved.
In the same chain, he rose to prominence thanks to Los Serrano, another iconic Telecinco series. There she gave life to the crazy Raúl, Fran’s best friend, a character played by Fran Perea, coinciding with other actors such as Jimmy Barnatán , Natalia Sánchez , Alexandra Jiménez and Víctor Elías.

Sauras is a regular on ‘Pasapalabra’, where he has participated on more than one occasion, both during his time on Telecinco and on Antena 3, with Roberto Leal . In the next few days he will coincide with Ana Morgade , Inma Cuevas and Adrián Lastra . He will help Orestes Barbero and Rafa Castaño to add seconds.
From that moment on he became one of the most sought after actors, participating in titles such as ‘I’m alive’, ‘April 14. The Republic’, ‘Phenomena’ or ‘Something to celebrate’.
In the cinema he has had a short, but interesting career working in films like ‘Solo química’, ‘Los abrazos rotos.’ of Pedro Almodóvar; ‘Welcome home’, ‘Fermat’s room’ and the recent ‘Caribbean, all inclusive’. He is currently focused on touring Spain with the play ‘Oedipus through the flames’.
