Alejandra Espinoza Cruz, born March 27, 1987, is a talented Mexican model, television presenter, and beauty queen. She is best known for winning the first year of the Univision beauty pageant called Nuestra Belleza Latina in the year 2007. She Espinoza was born in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, but is a US national.

Espinoza was raised by Rosa María and her father, a doctor. She comes from a large family with ten children. Early in her career, she worked as a foreign currency exchange teller. While working as an exchange teller, she used to participate in beauty pageants in her spare time.

Later, after working for about a year, Espinoza became a model and co-host of the hit Univision show Sábado Gigante, starring Don Francisco. She worked for about 6 years in Sabad Gigante and appeared in about 333 weekly programs. She later left the show to pursue other projects in Los Angeles.

Later she worked in another program called Nuestra Belleza Latina 2014 as a co-host. After a few months, Univision announced that Espinoza will host a new reality show and a singing contest called La Banda that will start in 2015.
