Alan Metter
Very active in the 80s, in the field of comedy, Alan Metter had retired with his wife and son to Florida. The author of titles like “Girls Only Think About Having Fun” passed away on June 7, 2020.

Born on August 19, 1933, in the outskirts of Boston, Massachusetts, Alan Metter graduated in Philosophy, later directing music videos for artists in the world of music such as George Harrison and Olivia Newton-John . He made his feature film debut with the aforementioned Girls Only Think About Fun , from 1985, which achieved enormous success in the United States, making hitherto unknowns Sarah Jessica Parker , Shannen Doherty and Helen Hunt popular .
He continued in the field of comedy with titles like Back to School and Crazy Police Academy 7: Mission in Moscow. The latter, of poor quality, ended the police franchise, which had been stretched too far, so he withdrew from feature films, and from then on he dealt with video productions.
