Alan Bersten is an American professional dancer and choreographer specializing in ballroom dancing. He is known for performing as a professional dancer, Dancing with the Stars . He was one of the top 6 contestants in the 10th season of the FOX-produced dance television series. So you think you can dance. On Dancing with the Stars , he was a professional dancer and then became a professional mentor on the series’ spin-off, Dancing with the Stars: Juniors . In the spin-off series, Alan became an excellent mentor for his work there.

1. He started dancing at the age of 7. He tried different dance styles and succeeded in many of them. His brother taught him to dance better and his variety of dance styles earned him several titles.
2. In 2018, while touring with the others on the show Dancing With the Stars , Alan complained of severe abdominal pain and had to go to the hospital. They found his blood had high levels of calcium and had to do some other tests. It was later discovered that he had a tumor on his left parathyroid gland that required surgery to remove. He was back at work just a week after the operation.
3. In season 20 of Dancing With the Stars Alan was just one member of the Troops. This lasted for 4 seasons until he officially became a professional partner in season 25.
4. When Alan was 16, he was speeding in the driveway and accidentally crashed the car into the front door. When asked about it, he blamed the snow.
5. While growing up, Alan’s favorite show was Seinfeld .
6. When he was much younger, he was always bullied by the elders because he was the youngest.
7. In the fifth grade, he never liked the classes, so every day he made appointments with the nurse by faking one or the other illness.
