Alain Delon was born on November 8, 1935 in Sceaux, in the Hauts-de-Seine. Coming from a modest background and dissipated student. He worked in his stepfather’s butcher’s shop before joining the Navy at 17 and ending up in Indochina. On his return to Paris, his encounters with, among others, Jean-Claude Brialy then the director Yves Allégret, made him turn to the cinema.

He continued the following year with Rocco et ses frères by Luchino Visconti, which won the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival.
