Ala Chebbi, (Arabic: علاء الشابي) born November 30, 1963 in Beb Jdid, is a Tunisian television host. He is known for his conservative positions in the societal programs he presents on television or radio, such as Andi ma nkolek broadcast on Ettounsia TV, a concept very similar to the French program Y’a que la vrai qui compte . . He also hosts the program Serek fi bir broadcast on Mosaique FM . Ala Chebbi appears in Sami Fehri ‘s Casting series playing her own role.

Ala Chebbi is a Tunisian television host. He began his audiovisual career in 1994, on the Canal 21 channel, with the show Al Khoutwa Al Oula, a Tunisian New Star. He is one of the star hosts in Tunisia, with flagship shows such as Hadha Ana and Al Mousemeh Karim airing on Tunisian channel Hannibal TV.

Ala joined Sami Fehri’s Cactus Prod in 2008, where he returned to the public channel Tunisie 7. There he hosted a show produced by Cactus Prod named Andi Mankolek , it is the Tunisian version of the show Y’a que the truth that matters , a concept very similar to Al Mousameh Karim, this one is then aired on Ettounsiya TV.

Little known facts

• On February 27, 2014, the HAICA suspended Ala Chebbi ‘s broadcast for a month and sentenced  Ettounsiya TV  to a fine of 200,000 dinars for invasion of a person’s privacy and dignity.
• On October 19, 2016, the HAICA decided on a new three-month suspension after a scandal linked to the way in which the tragedy of a minor raped by three of her relatives was handled five days earlier: the host, Ala Chebbi in effect hold the child responsible for what happened and calls on him to marry his rapist.
• Ala Chebbi  is accused of misogyny and homophobia. [ 1 ]
