Alfredo James Pacino was born on April 25, 1940 in New York City. Alfredo James ‘Al’ Pacino is an American stage and screen actor, filmmaker, and screenwriter. His father Salvatori Pacino was an actor and his mother Rose (Gerardi), died in 1962.
Alfredo Pacino was born into a family of Italian immigrants in East Harlem, New York. Roberta Pacino, Desiree Pacino, Josetee Pacino, and Paula Pacino are the sisters of Alfredo James. The older sister, Roberta Pacino, is a writer and producer.

During Alfredo Pacino’s school days, he was very active and interested in the arts and was accepted into the Escuela Superior de Artes Escénicas. He was weak in studies and failed many times in many subjects except English. He soon began acting in stage productions and during this time acted in a Broadway play for which he won a Tony Award. He also played a minor role in the short film ‘I, Natalie’ which was the big break for his career.

Alfredo James is not married but has three children. Julie Marie, born in 1989, is his eldest daughter and his twin children are Anton James and Olivia Rose. The three children are Beverley D’Angelo’s children from his ex-girlfriend. Currently, he is the boyfriend of Lucila Sola, much younger, who is in the process of getting divorced.
