Aiyedatiwa Congratulates APC on Edo Governorship Victory

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has proudly congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its impressive victory in Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State.

As the Chairman of the Election Planning and Strategy Committee for the APC in this election, Aiyedatiwa extended his heartfelt congratulations to the party’s candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and his running mate, Hon. Dennis Idahosa, for their success as governor-elect and deputy governor-elect, respectively.

This announcement came in a statement from his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, in Akure, the state capital.

Aiyedatiwa expressed his gratitude to the people of Edo State for placing their trust in the APC to govern.

He stated, “I want to congratulate our party, the APC, Senator Okpebholo, and Hon. Idahosa on the well-deserved victory in the just concluded governorship election in Edo State.”

Acknowledgment of Leadership

Moreover, the governor added, “I join millions of our party faithful to give glory to God for granting us a peaceful victory to reclaim Edo back into the fold of the progressives where it rightly belongs.”

He also expressed his appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his exemplary leadership, which greatly contributed to a free and fair election in Edo.

In addition, Aiyedatiwa commended the leadership of the APC, particularly National Chairman Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, along with the national and state campaign committees, for their hard work in achieving this significant victory.

He remarked, “I commend our party’s leadership for the efforts they put in to achieve the much-needed victory.”

Confidence in Future Governance

Furthermore, the governor praised the peaceful conduct of the Edo people throughout the election process.

He confidently expressed his belief in Senator Okpebholo’s vision for governance, which he believes will lead to positive changes in the state.

Aiyedatiwa concluded, “I am optimistic that the new administration will implement progressive policies and programs that will have a positive impact on the lives of the people of Edo.
