Aitor Mazo
Aitor Mazo was found dead by the woman who was doing housework at his home on Thursday, May 7, 2015. His death was due to natural causes. Everything points to coronary insufficiency, although no further details were disclosed. “I forgot to confess to you that it was wonderful to work with you,” said Dani Rovira, his partner in “Ocho apellidos vascos.”
Born in Bilbao in 1961, Aitor Mazo began his professional activity in 1983 with the Mascarada theater group, where he stayed until 1987. Later, he created the Txirene theater company together with Lauder Iglesias and Patxo Tellería. He made his film debut in 1987 with Lauaxeta , followed by films like Vacas , by Julio Medem ; Airbag , by Juanma Bajo Ulloa , and The Community , by Alex de la Iglesia .
His face became popular with his appearance in television series such as Thieves go to the office, Police , La familia Mata , El compisario , and Médico de familia , almost always as a villain. In recent times he was the priest frightened by the lies of Dani Rovira in Eight Basque surnames and a member of the Inquisition Court in The Ministry of Time .
The actor premiered the play “La calma mágica” in Pamplona, but the show had to be cancelled.
