Following the wide criticism of the silence of the First Lady concerning issues in the country, Aisha Buhari has broken her silence.
The wife of the President broke her long silence as she sent goodwill messages to Nigerian women on International Women’s Day.
Recall that an online media, SaharaReporter earlier reported that the First Lady had relocated to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, citing security issues.
However, on Monday she posted a goodwill message on her Twitter handle titled: “Message of the First Lady, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, on the occasion of the International Women’s Day 2021.”
The First Lady stressed the issue of insecurity that has bedevilled the country. Likewise calling on the stakeholders to bring the issue to an end.
