Adrian Grenier
Adrian Grenier is the handsome boy with light eyes and a pretty smile who charmed the girls in The Entourage , a role that suited him perfectly. Carefree, rich and famous.
Grenier is a globetrotter who was born on July 10, 1976 in New Mexico, although he grew up in Brooklyn with his mother Karesse, a real estate agent. Her father, John Dunbar, met her at a hippie commune and they never married. Adrian’s dark complexion reaffirms his native and European ancestry. In 2002 he directed and played himself in the documentary Shot in the Dark , a drama that recounted the long journey of Grenier and his best friend to meet his father. As a director he has specialized in documentaries, as eight years later he presented Teenage Paparazzi , a portrait of the world of photojournalists that tells the story of a young photographer at heart. Already from a young age he was interested in the artistic world, he studied dramatic art at Bard College. He is also the drummer for the band The Honey Brothers.
Grenier was a secondary actor in his beginnings, with almost ephemeral characters, such as his debut in 1997 with Hurricane Streets and with Arresting Gena . A year later he placed himself under the orders of the illustrious Woody Allen in Celebrity , a film in which he played one of Leonardo DiCaprio ‘s entourage boys . In a few years he would be the head of his own cabal.
In the years to come we saw him in other landmark titles such as Hart’s War , Everything Else or The Devil Wears Prada . All of his characters lacked strength and relevance, until at the beginning of the 21st century he received the call from Doug Ellin to play Vincent Chase, the role that changed his life. Vince is the star of the series Entourage , an HBO comedy that criticized the Hollywood industry. The production was a success in the United States and lasted eight seasons.
Upon completion in 2011, Grenier appeared in the independent production Goodbye World (2013), a little-known post-apocalyptic film that tells the hard times of a group of friends who see the end of the world near. A short time later, the production company Warner gave the green light to the adaptation of Entourage (The entourage) and in 2015 the film was released in theaters.
