Adekunle Gold’s Sinner is a sensational song; the singer and songwriter released the official video for his song ‘Sinner’ featuring his wife, Simi, as the video vixen.

While speaking with Official Charts, Adekunle Gold said Sinner was inspired by the Biblical story of King David and Bathsheba: “I thought about the intimacy between them. I know it’s weird, but I thought about how Bathsheba must have been so badass to entice King David so much that he was going to risk it all for her. I know it’s a story people talk about that shows the frailty of David, but I chose to see it as that she must have been so beautiful, so I thought to write about it that way.

“While I was writing the song and the melodies I knew this was a banger. Sometimes I have a lot of things I want to talk about and I write them down and see what fits with the vibe I’m in, but at that moment the only thing that came to mind was that story. I thought you’re the next one.”

Meanwhile, Sinner is Adekunle Gold’s second official single for 2021, following the release of his previous single, “It Is What It Is.”

The afro-pop song features American singer-songwriter Lucky Daye and was produced by talented Nigerian producer Blaise Beatz.

More so, it was directed by Polish photographer, Magdalena Wosinska, the video was perfectly cast towards the theme of the song and also its tempo.

The video sees AG baby sensually catering to his wife, the “Duduke” crooner, Simi, at every opportunity he gets.

Evidently, the “Sinner” video which was released 22 hours ago has gathered almost 221,869 views on YouTube.
