1. During his school days, he competed in athletics events. He was quite good at long-distance running, which was certainly instrumental in developing his great stamina.
2. In his school days he was also known for his eloquence and intelligence. When he was 12, he was elected one of his school’s city counselors.
3. He used his position as a municipal advisor to lobbied local authorities for the construction of suitable football facilities near Vigne Blanche, a notorious underprivileged neighborhood in west Paris.
4. He joined his first football club at the age of 11 when he started his journey OFC Les Mureaux . His mother had previously not allowed him to join a club as she didn’t want him to cross the busy roads.
