After that, however, they made no progress on the romantic front as he was busy with his cricket career and she devoted herself to her studies. Then he met her at his brother Wessel’s wedding and he was blown away by her voice, when she sang his favorite song. Shortly thereafter she moved to Cape Town and they saw each other more often. In the early months of 2012, he decided that he wanted to marry Danielle. Before going to IPL he asked her parents permission to marry her and they helped him choose a ring for Danielle.
