Aaron Tveit was born on October 21, 1983 in Middletown, New York, the son of Posie and Stanley Tveit. Aaron comes from Norwegian descent. He also has a younger brother whose name is Jon Tveit .

Aaron graduated from Middletown High School in 2001. While at Middletown he was active in both theater and sports, playing golf, soccer, and basketball. Kyle was also in all four of his school’s theater productions.

Aaron got a business school scholarship but turned it down to major in vocal performance at Ithaca College and then switched to musical theater after his freshman year because he missed acting and theater.

He has also been seen on Ugly Betty, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Body of Proof, The Good Wife, Graceland, and Grease Live. He got his first role in a movie in 2008 in Ghost Town. He later went on to be seen in Girl Walks into a bar, Premium Rush, Les Miserables, Undrafted, Big Sky and more.

From 2017-19, the actor was part of the cast of the television series The Good Fight where he shared the screen alongside Christine Baranski , Rose Leslie, Erica Tazel , Cush Jumbo , and Delroy Lindo .
