A Brief Summary Of What Happened Between Ray J and Kim Kardashian

While sharing evidence with DailyMail, Ray J claimed that Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner arranged the release of the tape that happened over 14 years ago. And he provided the supposed DMs that showed him confronting the KKW Beauty CEO.

If you recall, Kim Kardashian, then an obscure daughter of late attorney Robert Kardashian and personal stylist to singer Brandy Norwood, was in a deep, passionate relationship with Norwood’s younger brother, Willie “Ray J” Norwood, who was also a musician, in 2002.

While speaking for the first time in an interview with Daily Mail, Ray J insisted that he had nothing to do with the release of the tape as promoted by the Kardashians. He insisted that he did not leak any tape and the release was and is a business partnership between him, Kim, and Kris Jenner.

He also maintains he never did any of the things she claims he did in the Kardashians’ new Hulu show and was offended by her assertion that he had a film of him sticking a dildo in my a**,’ which he claims made him sound ‘like a rapist’ and was wrong.

And in a private DMs to Ray J, Kim admits: ‘If you’re upset about the dildo comment it was clearly a sarcastic joke and I was laughing when I said it.’

‘I’ve sat in the shadows for over 14 years allowing the Kardashians to use my name, to abuse my name, make billions of dollars over a decade-and-a-half talking about a topic I’ve never really spoken about.

Ray expressed guilt for the tape’s release and that he “felt suicidal” when the family constructed “an empire off a falsehood they’ve made.” “It’s hard to get up every day as a Black man living and working in America and look out at the water or look at my family and know that people think something about you when you know it’s 1,000 percent the opposite way,” he continued.

He added that he was passed over for Dancing with the Stars and America’s Got Talent as a result of his involvement in the tape.

“For me, I’ve been walking on eggshells thinking I’m going to get in trouble for telling the truth and I’ve been holding onto it for the past 14 years and watching them humiliate me. They’re celebrating my destruction,” he continued, accusing Kim of “defaming” him.
