8 celebrity couples we’re hoping will finally tie the knot in 2015

We always look forward to weddings. Not only does it mark the beginning of two souls, but it also reminds us of a weekend full of pretty clothes, well-groomed men and lots of alcohol. Aside from getting married to people close to us, we have to admit that we LOVE celebrity weddings. Celebrities know how to make it big. Better yet, they make sure it looks damn good in the videos and pictures. We want to know everything, right? The amount of money spent, the venue, the wedding dress, the bridesmaids, the theme and of course the gossip.

Last year we saw some of the biggest celebrity weddings. Like George and Amal Clooney getting married in the canals of Venice, Brad and Angelina having their children’s doodles printed on the dress, and of course Kim and Kanye’s Paris and Florence celebration. Looking back, we can only hope that 2015 will be even bigger and better.

Although there are many couples looking to get, here is the list of celebrities we are hoping to tie the knot this year. While we’ve been waiting for most of them to finally break the news, we’re hoping couples like Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux, Courteney Cox & Johnny McDaid, and Hayden Panettiere & Wladimir Klitschko get and bring those wedding bell rings this year. Honestly though, we hope they all tie the knot soon!

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis

Beautiful Olivia Wilde, who gave birth to Jason’s baby, Otis Alexander, has been battling rumors surrounding her marriage for some time in 2014. The media obviously figured they were going to do it soon. She confirms that everything the media talks about is satire. They’re not sure when they’ll finally make it. For now, though, we know that “Monique Lhuillier” will be designing her and her bridesmaid’s look.

When they got engaged in 2013, Olivia told InStyle magazine about how in love she was with Justin and how lucky she is to be with someone she respects. While Justin shared with his friends and family about how blessed he feels to have a partner in her.

Although we have to say, we can’t wait to see this stunning couple walking down the aisle and wish them an amazing fairytale life!

Jennifer Aniston und Justin Theroux

They’ve been engaged since August 2012 and have been in the spotlight ever since. The two are so happy with how their lives are going that they are not thinking or worrying about marriage. There were several rumors of a secret wedding, fights, and breakup throughout their relationship, however, most turned out to be lies.

On one by Ellen DeGeneres , Aniston expresses how difficult it became for her to throw even a casual party once people started believing it was her secret wedding!

Jennifer has been and will be America’s sweetheart, for many she is still the gorgeous Rachel Green from the famous TV show Friends. It’s obvious that everyone wants to see her happy and eventually marry Justin.

Courteney Cox und Johnny McDaid

Ever imagined what it would feel like to have Snow Patrol’s frontman kneel down with two rings, one for your little girl and one for you? We would definitely faint right there. Some lucky girls like Courtney Cox have been proposed in the most adorable way. He proposed her to her best friend, Jennifer Aniston’s house.

However, it has been reported that they are planning to get married at Ashford Castle in Ireland. Unless they’ve already secretly eloped, we hope this is true. But we’d all like to see a big wedding in a castle, right?

Bryan Greenberg und Jamie Chung

The lovely couple have been engaged since December 2013 and seem quite compatible for two ridiculously good-looking people. We’ve been waiting for confirmed news about their wedding date ever since. The only information Jamie has offered so far is what the wedding should look and feel like. Rustic, colorful, and outdoorsy are some of the cues she’s given so far. The wedding could take place in California or Wyoming, depending on the circumstances. There also seems to be news about her bridal outfit with the famous Monique Lhuillier, who will be designing her look. She would rather wear something simple than a fancy dress.

Their planning and preparations have already begun and we hope they will announce the date of the ceremony soon! We understand you’re as excited as we are!

Christina Aguilera and Matt Rutler

The two dated almost three years ago, and got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2014. After that, they gave birth to a beautiful girl and moved to a new home they call “The Sanctuary”. The six-time Grammy winner and her husband Matt have a lot to do and will be busy for a while, so they want to keep the topic of marriage for another time in the future. Christina said she doesn’t want to rush it and wants to focus on wedding plans when she has more free time. They want to honor the big day and make memories, and not the heck. We definitely agree!

This couple has avoided the subject of marriage, thrown out by the media every now and then. However, we firmly believe and hope that they can achieve their happy ending as soon as possible. We’re sticking with this couple to tie the knot for 2015!

Allison Williams and Ricky Van Veen

The GIRLS star has been hired to co-found CollegeHumor for a year now, and we’ve been waiting for the moment when they decide to take the next step. This absolutely adorable couple looks happy and reflect good luck through their chemistry. Unfortunately, time was not on their side. Shortly after her engagement, actress Allison Williams was cast in Peter Pan Live, causing this Disney princess to delay her wedding planning for a while. They then faced some other professional and family issues that were very little talked about.

Although time wasn’t on their side, we hope they can finally start planning their big day. We’re looking forward to a very Disney and princess-esque wedding! Despite all the weird issues that came with it, we’re very happy that Allison and Ricky are both keeping it together and about equally positive.

Whitney Port and Tim Rosenman

This is a couple who have already startedtheir wedding preparations. They had started planning their wedding a long time ago but had to put it on hold due to numerous and varied issues. The 30-year-old fashion designer is now getting ready for her big day in full swing. After their engagement in November 2013, Whitney opened up about how she feels about her lover Tim. She said she feels blessed to have a partner like Rosenman and can’t wait to be married or start a family with him. Whitney comes from a family of 5 and is very anxious to have babies of her own in the near future.

She started her planning with the biggest step by step, for a woman, her wedding dress! While the clock is ticking, she’s still trying out different styles and trying to figure out what she does best. Although the exact date is not yet known, we know and are sure that 2015 will see a big wedding for these two cuties.

Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko

Wladimir and Hayden got engaged in October,2013 and have since put their wedding on hold. This Nashville actress is apparently putting her wedding to her boxer fiancé on hold for a while. They have a beautiful baby together, and between her career and parenthood, she declares that she doesn’t have enough time to plan her dream wedding. Very little has been heard about any issues between the two, so we’re hoping they get more into them by the day.

However, we have to admit her reasons for postponing her wedding were justified. First they had their baby. Parenting takes a lot of time and energy and doesn’t leave much room for other thoughts. After that, Ukraine was plagued by political problems and propaganda. With much of the boxer’s family residing in Ukraine, further delaying the marriage was obvious and logical. Now that it’s all over and the storm has finally calmed down, let’s hope this adorable couple finally ties the knot soon. We wish them all the best and shower them with lots of blessings.
