Here is a list of all the Nigerian musicians with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100, the biggest music chart in the whole world.
The Billboard Hot 100 is arguably the biggest music chart in the whole world. It is the music industry’s standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by Billboard magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States.
As the biggest music market in the entire world, making it into the Billboard Hot 100 is not an easy feat, only a few had the opportunity. With the expansion of the Afrobeats genre to several parts of the world, a few Nigeria Singers have had the opportunity to debut on the chart, Singers Like Wizkid and Tems have made numerous appearances.

1. Tems
International rising sensation Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems, is the artist with the most entry on the Billboard Hot 100, The 27-year-old Singer has made five entries on the chart, Four as a featured Artist, and one as a solo artist.
She made her first entry with Essence the 2021 global hit song with Wizkid, she has since then featured on numerous songs with Mainstream American artists such as Beyonce, Drake, and Future. Her Collaboration with Future ” Wait for you” debuted at the top of the chart, making her the first African artist ever to top the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

The African Starboy, Wizkid with four entries takes second place among the list of Nigerian Musicians with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100. He is the first artist to debut on the chart following his collaboration with Drake on the song “One Dance”.
His 2021 global hit song Essence became the first Nigerian song to debut on the chart and to date remains the highest-peaking Nigerian song on the chart. Other entries include his collaboration with Chris Brown and Beyonce.

3. Burna Boy
The African Giant, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy takes third place among the list of Nigerian Musicians with the most entry on the Billboard Hot 100. The Grammy award-winning Singer made his appearance on the Chart following his collaboration with Justin Bieber on the Track “loved by You”.
With “Last Last” Burna made his first solo and lead entry on the Chart. The song Spent 19 weeks on the chart peaking at No 44, making it the third longest charting Nigerian song on the Chart behind Wizkid’s Essence and Ckay’s Love Nwantiti

4. CKay
Alte singer, Chukwuka Ekweani, popularly known as Ckay is one of the few Nigerian musicians to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The 27-year-old Singer made his one single entry with his 2019 Global hit song “Love Nwantiti”
Love Nwantiti is the second song by a Nigerian artist to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Global 200 following Wizkid’s “Essence”. It also spent a whooping 30 weeks on the chart making the second-highest-charting Nigerian song on the chart.

5. Fireboy DML
YBNL Signee, Adedamola Adefolahan popularly known as Fireboy DML is one of the few Nigerian musicians with an entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The 26-year-old made his only entry on the chart with the global hit song “Peru”
The song which featured the legendary Ed Sheeran became the third Nigerian Song to feature on the Chart, where it spent 15 weeks peaking at no 56.

6. Rema
Mavin signee, Divine Ikubor, popular known as Rema concludes the list of Nigerian Musicians with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100. The singer like many of his contemporaries on the list has just a single entry on the chart.
Rema made his only entry with his Global smash hit “Calm Down” which featured Selena Gomez. The song debuted at 91 on the chart and has presently spent over 12 weeks peaking at 82.
