According to the Dunning-Kruger effect, people with a low level of Intelligence will tend to overestimate their abilities, whereas highly Inteligent people will tend to sell themselves short. This is due to the fact that the more intelligent, informed, and skilled you are, the more you realize just how much space there is to further improve and you are not satisfied with your current knowledge or skill level.

Here are five signs that you are more intelligent, informed, and skilled than you think.

  1.  You stay up late to work on things that are important: According to research people who prefer to stay up late and do their best work at night, have a higher IQ than morning people. Smarter people mostly work on themselves at night when everyone else is asleep.  they spend the night browsing the web for information, reading, learning important things, and finishing up different projects.
  2.  You’re the silent type:  Highly intelligent people will often refrain from speaking if they are accessing a situation. They will take some time to think about what was said and prepare an adequate response, and they find silence better than pointless small talk.
  3. You are a perfectionist: Highly Intelligent people strive for perfection, They apply the perfectionist mentality to all aspect of their life, so they try looking their best in everything they do
  4. You’re Curious About Everything: Intelligent people are curious about anything and everything. Intelligent people engage their passions and ask questions like who, what, when, where, how, why, and what if.  They like learning about other people, cultures, animals, history, and the world at large.

  5. You question your abilities and even your intelligence: Intelligent people never blow their own Horn because they feel there is a lot they don’t know about. they are never satisfied with their current knowledge or skill level, they’re always seeking improvement.
