According to her in her lengthy tribute posted on her Instagram page, her mother died as a result of a stomach ache.

Nigerian Juju singer, Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, better known as King Sunny Ade, lost his wife, Hon Risikat Ajoke Adegeye to the cold hands of death on Tuesday, 21st September 2021.
