4TH IMPACT FACTOR X
After their experience in Superstar K6, the band was on the verge of giving up on their singing career until a fan in the UK suggested they try auditioning for The X Factor. The group decided to submit an online application for the reality TV contest.
After several months, they received an invitation to audition. In July 2015, the sisters traveled to London and, after undergoing several screening trials, finally made it to the arena auditions for the 12th series of The X Factor. Posing as 4th Power, they performed “Bang Bang” by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj as their audition piece.
Their performance was given a standing ovation by the audience and the four judges, with Simon Cowell saying, “In terms of first auditions, it’s probably one of the best I’ve ever seen.” After it aired, the band’s audition went viral on YouTube and Facebook; and, as of December 2018, their audition video on YouTube had garnered over 127 million views. It is currently the most viewed video in the show’s history.
The group sailed through the “Boot Camp” round of the show, where they performed Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary” and David Guetta’s “Titanium,” and the “Six-Chair Challenge” round where they performed “Show Me How You Burlesque” By Christina Aguilera.
There, mentor for group acts, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, selected them as one of her final six acts. At this time, copyright issues were raised regarding the use of the 4th Power name, causing the band to rebrand themselves as 4th Impact.
They then progressed to the “Judge’s Houses” tour, where they performed Rihanna ft Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie (Part II)” and were selected to move on to the concerts. In the quarter-finals, the group found themselves in the bottom two for the first time.
Being one of the two acts that received the fewest votes from the public, they had to play compatriot Lauren Murray for the final spot in the semi-finals. For vocals, the band performed “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” by Jennifer Holliday, then covered by Jennifer Hudson.
Ora and Grimshaw voted to send Murray to the semi-finals while Fernandez-Versini and Cowell voted to send the 4th Impact to the semi-finals The result went to a stalemate and Murray advanced to the semi-finals, meaning the 4th Impact finished fifth place. After being eliminated from the X Factor UK, 4th Impact received numerous offers to perform across the UK and in other countries. They have appeared in several shows, venues and events in London and surrounding towns.
In early 2016 the band went on their first official tour, The X Factor Live Tour, co-headlining Louisa Johnson, Reggie ‘n’ Bollie, Che Chesterman, Lauren Murray, Anton Stephans, Mason Noise and Seann Miley Moore . Polls conducted by the series’ producers before the tour showed that 4th Impact was the most anticipated activity in the tour’s lineup. A poll conducted after the tour named 4th Impact the best act on the show.
After the X Factor Live tour, 4th Impact continued to perform in the UK and internationally, particularly in Dubai; UNITED ARAB EMIRATES; Dublin, Ireland; Oslo, Norway; and Gibraltar. In April 2016, 4th Impact returned to the Philippines to perform at the 1st Paradise International Music Festival, alongside Kanye West, Wiz Kalifa and other international and Filipino artists.
Later the same year, the group announced their comeback concert in the Philippines titled Invas10n, which also commemorated their tenth year as a group. In December 2016, 4th Impact launched their Invas10n Tour, with their first major concert in the Philippines.
They also returned to Dubai the same month for a rehearsal of their concert held in the city earlier that year. The group, with the support of Star Music Philippines, released their debut single titled “Unleash The Diva” in January 2017.
The song reached number 3 on iTunes PH and number 1 on Spotify’s Viral 50 PH. An official lyric video for the song was released on YouTube on January 31, 2017, followed by a music video on June 2, 2017. In March 2017, 4th Impact traveled to Doha, Qatar to perform in a concert one night only.

THE X FACTOR 4TH IMPACT MAKES A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
The sisters from the Philippines wowed the judges on the 2015 series with their rendition of Bang Bang, rushing to the live shows.
They have since performed to audiences around the world and this week they took to Instagram to reveal some big news.
“We thank you for all of your support and prayers, we know it’s been a long wait,” the girls began.
They then announced that they had signed a deal with an American music company and revealed, “We are currently working on our own music.
“Our very own EP which you will be hearing so soon, so thank you so much for all your support and prayers, without you we wouldn’t be here. Thanks very much’
Fans of the quartet were quick to congratulate the band on the news with one saying, ‘Wow, can’t wait to hear your own music…and maybe a gig soon!’
Originally, the 4th Impact left The X Factor judges stunned during the show’s auditions in 2015.
Or rather the 4th power as they were called then.
The family from the Philippines flew halfway around the world to sing in the competition, mainly drawn by the prospect of seeing Simon Cowell.
Oh, and our queen.
Consisting of Mylene, Celina, Irene, and Almira, 4th Impact is made up of sisters who may have looked like the picture of sophisticated grace but stunned by a powerful Bang Bang performance from Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj.
There were dance moves, hair flicks and even rapping as 4th Impact rocked the stage to leave the X Factor judges overwhelmed with an audition that has since been watched 96 MILLION times.
It became one of The X Factor’s most watched moments, but still not quite the best.
Right now that title goes to Ablisa who went viral with their 2010 audition after the two friends fought on stage following a flop performance of Shayne Ward’s That’s My Goal.
They then insulted guest judge Natalie Imbruglia before walking off stage in a clip that has been viewed over 100 million times.
