ADRIANA LA CERVA AGE, FAMILY, MOTHER

Liz is Adriana La Cerva’s mother. Liz was born Elizabeth Aprile and is a sister of the late Jackie Aprile Sr. and Richie Aprile and sister-in-law of Rosalie Aprile (see family tree). She is a recovered alcoholic. Carmela commented that Liz and Adriana always had a strained relationship when Adriana was growing up.

When Richie Aprile confronts Chris about his relationship with his niece Adriana, Christopher asks who told him he was abusive towards her but he doesn’t say.

She has an unnamed sister who lives in Dayton, New Jersey. This leads to the suspicion that Liz maintained contact with Richie while behind bars through some type of match, but this is never revealed.

She is not seen in the presence of her brother Richie when he is released from prison. Adriana tells Christopher that if they were in the witness protection program, she would be okay never to see her mother again.

Liz was never a big supporter of Adriana’s relationship with Christopher Moltisanti and Ade often stuck with her arguments or domestic violence.

When Chris proposes to Ade in front of Liz, she explains Chris’ behavior as abusive power and control. After Adriana disappeared in 2004, Liz was visited by the FBI who informed her that her daughter was presumed dead and that they suspected Chris’ involvement.

When Carmela Soprano met her at the Fête de Saint-Elzéar in 2006 (based on the annual feast of Saint-Gérard, held each October around Saint Lucia’s Church on Seventh Avenue in Newark) whose committee festivals,

Liz, convinced of her daughter’s murder, was already showing obvious signs of depression: she had stopped taking care of her appearance and later attempted suicide.

The FBI came to question Liz and told her that they believed Christopher had murdered her daughter. Carmela visited her in the hospital, but Liz seemed unconscious at the time. Adriana’s date of birth, age and month information is unknown, but stay tuned for the update soo
