GAVI: HIS GIRLFRIEND, HIS BOND WITH PRINCESS LEONOR AND HIS REAL NAME
WHAT IS GAVI’S REAL NAME?
Pablo Martín Páez Gavira, this is the real name of the FC Barcelona player, was born in Seville on August 5, 2004. Being just a child, he started playing for Liara, his local team, and was signed by the lower categories of Betis. His game made scouts for big teams take notice of him, so in 2015 he headed for La Masía.
After five years in the lower categories, he made the leap to Barça B, having been one of Xavi’s favourites, the current first team coach, for years. In the 2021/2022 season he made his debut in the first team in the first division.
He has also had a brilliant career in the national team after passing through the lower categories, making his debut in 2021 in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals. He did it at the age of 17 years and 62 days, making him the youngest player in history to make his senior debut.
HIS BOND WITH PRINCESS ELEANOR
After La Roja’s debut against Costa Rica, rumors spread when Gavi, who scored the fifth goal, gave a signed shirt to King Felipe. The fact that it was a small size triggered rumors that it was a gift for the Princess of Asturias.
The Socialité program, presented by María Patiño, spoke of an alleged admiration of the heiress to the throne for the soccer player, even saying that among her folders and school supplies she would have photos of the soccer player.
It would not be unusual for a young woman of her age to have admiration for a soccer player, although many already suggest that there could be a real romance between the two, since she is 17 years old and he is only 18.
