Isah Ashiru Kudan, a former member of the House of Representatives and the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) governorship contender in Kaduna in 2019, has earned the PDP’s governorship ticket for Kaduna State in 2023.
Chief Raymond Dabo, a former PDP chairman in Plateau State, pronounced Ashiru the victor of the PDP gubernatorial primaries held on Wednesday night at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.
He polled 414 votes.
2. Uba Sani – All Progressive Congress (APC)

Uba Sani, a Nigerian politician and the incumbent senator for Kaduna Central senatorial district of Kaduna State in the National Assembly Abuja, was born on December 31, 1970. He was elected on the 23rd of February 2019 in the Nigerian general elections as a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
On Wednesday morning the Governor directed that they rally around Senator Uba Sani for the Governorship seat.
He emerge as the APC governorship candidate of the state, Mr. Sani scored 1149 votes to defeat two other aspirants, including Mr. Shaaban, who scored 10 votes in the primary last week.
