This was made public by the Bollywood star, Priyanka Chopra and her husband, Nick Jonas during a two-part live presentation on Monday.
Recall that the Oscar Awards previously scheduled to hold on February 28. However, it was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic that is ravaging the world.
The long-awaited ceremony will now hold on April 25th at Los Angeles’ Union Station and the Dolby Theatre in-person.
According to the list, Netflix’s “Mank” led with a total of 10 nominations, following by six nominations apiece: “The Father,” “Judas and the Black Messiah,” “Minari,” “Nomadland,” “Sound of Metal” and “The Trial of the Chicago 7.”
Chloé Zhao (“Nomadland”) and Emerald Fennell (“Promising Young Woman”) were nominated for the best director, making a record of the first women to be ever nominated for the category.
