The reappointed JAMB Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede has disclosed that the 2021 JAMB Cut off mark can go as low as 50.

He made this known during an interview with Leadership TV on Sunday.

“We can go as low as 50”, he said while addressing issues regarding the admission of candidates. He pointed that even if candidates score zero (0), they should be admitted because there are some courses that have very few applicants.

Recall that there has been wide speculation on the mass failure of students who participated in the 2021 UTME organized by JAMB.

Although the board has not yet officially released the cut off for this year, he hinted that the cut off could go as low as 50 marks.

However, JAMB has informed the public that it would release the official cut off for admission by 31st August 2021.
