However, amidst these water availability complications, there are people that buy a bottle of water for as much as $100,000. For the sake of knowledge and record, we will be discussing the 10 most expensive bottled water in the world.

1. Beverly Hills 9OH20

Beverly Hills 9OH20 is the most expensive bottled water in the world.

At $100,000 per bottle, Beverly Hills 9OH20 is the most expensive bottled water in the world. The water comes from a spring in the California mountains in the United States and is bottled in an expensive 14-carat diamond bottle.

The bottle is designed by Beverly Hills jeweller, Mario Padilla, each bottle features a white gold cap set with over 600 G/VS white diamonds, and over 250 black diamonds totalling 14 carats.

It also comes in a custom secured presentation case, together with four engraved Baccarat crystal tumblers, and includes a one-year supply of the Beverly Hills Lifestyle Edition 9OH20, which costs $72 per bottle.

The product is limited to only nine bottles in the world but is yet to sell out.

2. Acqua di Cristallo Tributo a Modigliani

Acqua di Cristallo Tributo a Modigliani is the second most expensive bottled water in the World, A bottle is cost  $60,000. The water comes from natural springs in Fiji and France and has been bottled in a 24 karat gold bottle.

The bottle was designed by Fernando Altamirano of Tequila Ley, who is also credited with the design of the Cognac Dudognon Heritage Henri IV, thought to be the most expensive bottle of cognac in the world.

The packaging is one of the most expensive parts of the water product, though it is said to have a distinct, tantalizing flavour and softness to the pallet that will impress even the biggest bottled water connoisseurs.

3. Bling H20

With a bottle as high as $3,881, Bling H20 takes 3rd place among the most expensive bottled water in the world. The product is a made-to-order collection water bottle that is adorned with over 10,000 hand-applied Swarovski Crystals.

The product was designed by a Hollywood producer who saw the opportunity to put a new kind of style item into the hands of celebrities by decking out a frosted bottle with Swarovski crystals.

According to the company website, the water in the bottle is sourced from a spring in Tennessee in the USA and was filtered in 9 different ways. From all clear indications, the company’s focus is almost 100% on the bottle with virtually no focus on the water itself.

4. Fillico Jewelry Water

Fillico Jewelry water is a Japanese version of Bling H20, although the company began in Beverly Hills, California in 2005 targeting Hollywood celebrities. A year later they began selling in Japan and have remained there ever since.

The product with a wild array of designs that seems to constantly change, which include  Swarovski crystals, gold trims, and glitter wings costs as high as $1,390.  and

According to the company, the water in the bottle comes from a historic source in Kobe, Japan called Nunobiki Water, Which they claim is sought after by chefs and tea ceremony masters.

5. Nevas water

Nevas water is a German product that cost as much as $1,180 therefore taking up the fifth place on the list. The product was launched with initial availability only in Germany and has since spread around the world.

They themselves were the first premium cuvée water; a term taken from the wine world that often refers to a high-quality blend of more than one type of grape.

Based on reports, the product is a blend of two different water sources and is considered a  better alternative to champagne.

6. Kona Nigari water

The Famous Japanese Kona Nigari makes the list as costs as much as  $575 for each bottle. It is believed that the water can help one lose weight and improve the quality of one’s skin

The water is sourced from Hawaii, 3,000 feet down off one of the most remote and protected archipelagos in the world, and is bottled by Hawaii Deep Marine.

The deep ocean current it’s sourced from travels incredibly slowly, taking 1,000 years to flow halfway around the world and ultimately arrive off the coast of Hawaii, picking up deepwater minerals along the way.

The suppliers use reverse osmosis to purify the water, and while nothing is added to it, it’s one of the most hydrating water sources due to the natural electrolytes from deep ocean minerals.

7. Svalbardi

Svalbardi water is harvested from freshly carved off glaciers in the remote polar region of the Svalbard archipelago, which is about 1,000 kilometres from the North Pole.

It’s the world’s northernmost bottled water, and is almost entirely mineral-free, with the pH of fresh snow. It doesn’t have crystals or diamonds attached, but it will cost you $185.

MINUS 181 comes from a 181 metre deep artesian well in northern Germany.  The water sold for $50 per bottle is packaged in an odd-sized bottle at 681ml produced by Riedel, a company founded in 1756 known for their wine glassware.

A purchase of the product comes with a special gift box which includes bespoke glasses. They are also one of a small number of waters using the elegant Vinolok glass “cork” enclosure.
