Tina Turner was an actress, singer, and songwriter. Trained as the main vocalist for the husband-wife team Ike & Tina Turner, she became well-known as the “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll” before beginning a prosperous solo career.
Tina Turner died at the age of 83 on May 24, 2023. A statement on her official social media sites stated that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame legend passed away at her home in Switzerland following a protracted illness.
Turner has battled illness for a long time, living a solitary existence despite having a kidney transplant in 2017 and intestinal cancer in 2016 in addition to a stroke in 2013.
