Who are  STAYC?

StayC is a South Korean female group exponent of K-pop music made up of six girls named Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon and J who have achieved great musical successes such as Asap, So bad and Star To A Young Culture among others. STAYC debuted on November 12, 2020 and are currently considered one of the best kpop groups in their entire country.

Beginnings of STAYC

STAYC is a musical group whose name means: Star To A Young Culture”, is made up of 6 girls from South Korea, who made their debut last year 2020 on November 12.

The story of this group STAYC  begins in the year 2017, when Black Eyed Pilseung made it public that they would be launching a new music group under their management agency HIGH-UP Entertainment along with CJ E&M. In this regard, we must clarify that Black Eyed Pilseung is a duo made up of Choi Kyu Sung and Rado.

This is how the famous singers stated on the date of September 8, 2020 that: “Our first girl group, HIGH-UP Girls (which was a provisional stage name) will be released sometime before the end of the year.” . Soon after, they released the news that the first member of the group would be a young woman named Park Si Eun.

Regarding this girl, we must point out that she is a well-known actress who has made her appearance in different dramas such as: Six Flying Dragons, The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop, 30 but 17 and Mystic Pop-Up Bar. Regarding her inclusion on the group, the company noted, “Park Si Eun has a lot of potential not only as an actress, but also as a singer. Please let her follow the kind of synergy she will create with Black Eyed Pilseung.”

A short time later, the images of the first three members of the new group were released: Bae Su Min, Park Si Eun, and Yoon Se Eun and that they would tentatively carry the name of  STAYC.

Trajectory and history of STAYC

During the past year 2020 we learned that by the date of October 11 the stage name of the group was confirmed as STAYC, and between October 12 and 14 they released prologue teasers for each of the members, and already on October 15 they released their first group teaser, finally their official debut came on October 22 with the album “Star To A Young Culture” and the song “So Bad”.

In March 2021 there were already rumors from Korean reporters that they indicated a new appearance of the group STAYC  for the month of April with a new song for which they had even finished recording the video. The next day, HIGHUP Entertainment made the confirmation of STAYC ‘s new stage .

Subsequently, on March 22, the official STAYC social networks released a Spoiler Teaser in video format that had the phrase “I hope someone to show up as son as possible” as an introduction. And on March 23, another Spoiler Teaser came out on video, this time with the phrase: “Tell me how you guys feel about it?” with the official presentation of an album known by the name of STAYDOM. A schedule with the dates of the rumored performances, including concept photos, a track list, music video teasers, and the announcement of the Single Album release date for April 8, was immediately made available to the public.

On the other hand, the distribution of roles within the group  STAYC is as follows: Su Min (leader, rapper, vocalist and dancer), Si Eun (vocalist and dancer), ISA (vocalist and dancer), Se Eun (vocalist and dancer) , YOON (vocalist and dancer) and J (vocalist, rapper, dancer and maknae). We cannot leave aside that they have also made their appearance this year in a reality show focused on their musical group which was given the name of STAYCATION, broadcast on Kakao TV. Just as in the same way they have appeared on the television program called After School Club.

An interesting fact to mention is that each member of the group is associated with an element, so Su Min represents water, Su Eun the rock, ISA the shadow, Se Eun the light, YOON the metal, and J the wind.
In addition, in various interviews, the girls have mentioned that their role models are the members of Girl’s Generation, another musical group of the k-pop genre that made its debut in Korea on August 5, 2007, and in Japan on August 5, 2007. August 25, 2010.

Regarding each of its members, we will start by talking about Bae Su Min, who was born on March 13, 2001 in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea, and studied at Pohang Middle School and Kyungil High School; She has made it known in different media that her favorite hobbies are reading books and listening to music, as well as watching webtoons. In addition to singing, she has also made appearances on television such as VICTON’s reality show Me & 7 Men as the “invisible girl”; She is one of the most loved in  STAYC.

On the other hand, Park Si Eun was born on August 1, 2001 in Seoul, South Korea, and has singer Park Nam Jung as her father. She studied at Seoul SinYongsan Elementary School, SangMyung Elementary School, SangMyung Middle School, Goyang High School of Arts Nationally and completed her college degree in performing arts at Chung-Ang University, where she also obtained a theater major, one of the most talented of  STAY C.

He was an apprentice at Fantagio Entertainment back in 2013, at which time Jae SDeong and Cha Ni were also in the same place as apprentices. On January 18, 2017, he signed a contract with the agency JYP Entertainment to later be part of  STAY C.

ISA, whose real name is Lee Chae Young, was born on January 23, 2002 in Busan, South Korea. His education was spent at: Minan Elementary School, Dong-A Middle School, Sindo High School, and Gajaeul High School. After training at Hak Enter Academy in Busan, she was invited by Hip-Up Entertainment to audition in March 2018, and as it turned out, she formally joined the company as a trainee soon after, and underwent training that lasted 2 years and 9 months in total, which makes her one of the most prepared in  STAYC.

Se Eun, whose real name is Yoon Se Eun, came into the world on June 14, 2003 in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. We are aware that she studied for herself at Pyeongtaek Seongdong Elementary School, Hankwang Girls Middle School, and Kyungil High School. In addition to the fact that she trained as an actress from an early age and later appeared as a model for textbooks. She entered as a trainee at Play M Entertainment, and subsequently was a trainee for 2 years and 11 months at HIGHUP Entertainment before entering  STAYC.

For his part, Yoon, whose real name is Shim Ja Yoon, was born on April 14, 2004 in Gwangju, South Korea. He studied at Dosan Elementary School, Songgwang Middle School, Changcheon Middle School, and Gajaeul High School. It is our knowledge that while she was a student at the Joy Dance Plug-in Music Academy in Gwanju, she qualified for an audition at HIGHUP Entertainment, and by 2019 she had already signed a contract with the company.

Finally, J or Jang Ye Eun came into the world on December 9, 2004 in Daejon, South Korea, and studied at Daejeon Dongshin Middle School and Daejeon Girls High School, to later pursue her university career at Hongik University Girls. High School.

In July 2021, the girls of  STAYC covered the hit song Kiss Me More by singer Doja Cat .

How much is STAYC’s fortune?
