SHINee Beginnings

Shinee is a musical group from South Korea that is made up of all men, which is why it is defined as a “boyband”, which was formed by the company SM Entertainment in 2008. Initially, the musical group was made up of by: Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Taemin and Minho. However, in December 2017, Jongyhun’s death happened.

The SHINee boys made their debut on the date of May 25, 2008 with the presentation of the single “Replay” on the music program Inkigayo on the radio station called SBS. A short time later they would release their debut album called Replay with the SM Entertainment record label.

Kim Jong-hyun, popularly known as Jonghyun, was a singer-songwriter, producer, and lead vocalist for the Korean boy band SHINee for nine years. He managed to release more than twelve albums with the group in Korean and was considered one of the best vocalists in South Korea.
