After the murder, the authorities found Héctor Francisco “N” guilty, husband of Edelmira Gómez, sister of the businessman and ex-partner of Sharis Cid who had apparently been guilty of the murder but in 2019 and after eleven years in prison, “Héctor” was declared innocent and acquitted of all guilt, for which Sharis Cid was very upset assuring that the authorities had not done their job well.
