Nuevo Elemento is a musical group exponent of the norteño and regional Mexican genre formed by Héctor Osobampo, Danny Rea and Yahir Garduño “El Choco” who won the “I have a lot of talent” contest on Estrella TV and the prize was to form a new group called Nuevo Elemento , in addition to a record contract with Sony Music Latin. The group Nuevo Elemento debuted in November 2020 and after a few months  Lilo Bermúdez and Carlos Gabriel “Gabo” decided to leave the group.

Nuevo elemento is the name of a musical group who made their debut with the single known as “Don’t walk with anyone” .

Initially the group “Nuevo Elemento” was made up of 5 boys who stood out in the United States reality show called Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento ; These five young promises of music were; Héctor Osobampo  , originally from Guasave, Sinaloa, who moved to Mexico City at the age of 18 to formally venture into the world of music, Lilo Bermúdez ,  who was only 14 years old at the time, was born in Phoenix. , Arizona, United States, at his young age he was already an expert at playing the accordion in a local group, in addition to having a club of admirers called “Las Tóxicas de Lilo”, Yahir Garduño “El Choco” born in Mexicali, Baja California but later moved to Caxico, California; Danny Rea , born in Waukegan, Illinois, from an early age showed interest in norteño music, and with the group he seemed to be fulfilling his dreams and the last member Carlos Gabriel “Gabo”  originally from Guatemala, who within the musical group works as a composer, dancer, and singer; being distinguished by a singular charisma; However, after a few months,  Lilo Bermúdez and Carlos Gabriel “Gabo” decided to leave Nuevo Elemento.

These young people, continuing with their common dream of venturing into the world of musical entertainment, signed up for the game show Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento in its 23rd season.

Trajectory and history of Nuevo Elemento

The musical reality show Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento was released in September of last year 2020, focusing this time on the regional Mexican musical genre. We must emphasize that it is the first time in the history of this program that the winners received a recording contract with the record company Sony Music, from which various artists have emerged who are today great figures of the musical show, such as: Virlán García , Joss Favela and Gerardo Ortiz; In addition to Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento would be in charge of promoting the artistic career of the winners with financial support whose sum was 100 thousand dollars and of course the creation of the Nuevo Elemento group .

The presenter of the show Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento was the famous norteño singer Luis Coronel , while the judges included: Don Cheto (who works as a SoCal radio host), Chiquis Rivera (famous singer), Ana Bárbara ( actress) and Pepe Garza (a prominent music executive), who had the mission of finding those who would be part of the Nuevo Elemento group.

This is how the members of the musical group Nuevo Elemento managed to make this team of demanding and outstanding judges notice their unparalleled skills combined with the singular talent that already shapes them, in the words of the entertainment press as “one of the most up-and-comers in the Latin music industry.” We cannot leave aside the words that Pepe Garza expressed : “The new group called precisely Nuevo Elemento, we feel that it comes with a new proposal in the Mexican regional because there is no vocal group with five elements, it has not been seen. I think that, in addition, it represents a bit of the variety of regional Mexican music.”

In this way, after a close competition in which the participants shared with the public and with their opponents not only their musical talent, but also their personal life experiences, at the end of the season five finalists arrived as winners, who received the invitation to form a musical group under the name of Nuevo Elemento.

This is how excited and determined to celebrate their victory with dignity with the public that supported them so much, Héctor, Lilo, El Choco, Danny and Gabo released their first single which they gave the title “No Andes con Nadie”, whose composition was in charge of by a prominent Mexican composer known by the name of Luciano Luna. What we can say about this song is that it mixes the genre of norteño with that of mariachi, while its lyrics describe the jealousy that can afflict us even long after having ended a love relationship, we can see this concept clearly reflected in the following verses of the song: “Tell me if you plan to return, I’m saving your place, but don’t go with anyone.”

In mid- 2021, the Nuevo Elemento group saw the departure of two of its members Lilo Bermúdez and Carlos Gabriel “Gabo”, at that time they did not speak about the sudden departure of these two great singers but the three that remained Héctor Osobampo, Danny Rea and Yahir Garduño “El Choco” remained firm within the group, as if that were not enough, they celebrated that Nuevo Elemento was nominated for the Youth Awards in the categories “New generation of the Mexican regional” and “Best mariachi or ranchera song”.
