Dominic David Fike simply known as Dominic Fike (formerly L$G ), is an American singer-songwriter and rapper from Naples, Florida born December 30, 1995 and considered one of the best rappers of the moment; he is of African-American and Filipino descent and was raised by a single mother. He grew up with a younger brother, Alex, a sister, Apollonia or “Apple”, who inspired the apple tattoo under his right eye, and an older brother, Sean. Dominic began playing the guitar at the age of ten, inspired by pop-punk and rock acts such as blink-182, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Weezer.

Following his 2017 arrest for allegedly assaulting a police officer Dominic Fike released a draft of his EP Don’t Forget About Me, Demos. Following its release, Dominic Fike signed a $4 million record deal with Columbia Records and officially released Don’t Forget About Me, Demos on October 16, 2018 which became a smash hit.

In 2019, he gained a surge of new fans when Brockhampton boy band frontman Kevin Abstract directed an alternative music video for his song “3 Nights”, titled “This Is Dominic Fike”. He later featured on two songs on Abstract’s 2019 album Arizona Baby .

What Could Possfully Go Wrong is the debut album by Naples artist Dominic Fike , and is the follow-up to his 2017 release, Don’t Forget About Me, Demos. Following the release of the loose singles “Açaí Bowl” and “Rollerblades” in June 2019, fans had hoped that What Could Possfully Go Wrong was nearing release, however it did not materialize. In January 2020, Dominic Fike  shared a tentative track list on his Instagram Story.

In an Instagram post on June 8, 2020, Dominic Fike  revealed that he had planned to release the album’s lead single, “Chicken Tenders”, the week before, but decided to postpone the release weeks later due to the worldwide George Floyd protests. Once “Chicken Tenders” was released, the Naples Daily News published an article revealing that the album was originally scheduled for a July 10 release, but would have more rejections. On July 2, 2020, the album’s title appeared on Reddit after being accidentally revealed in the Shazam metadata.

The album’s second promotional single, “Politics & Violence”, premiered on Apple Music on July 9, 2020, along with the artwork and track listing for What Could Possfully Go Wrong . A day later, “Wurli” was accidentally uploaded to YouTube for a few hours before being taken down. “I hope people don’t think I’m a fraud for trying to show depth ,” said Dominic Fike , who spent two years trying to refine his sound while discovering his voice. The result is “What Could Possfully Go Wrong”, his debut album.

At the end of 2020, the Florida artist Dominic Fike held a virtual concert within Fortnite where he performed the songs “Come Here”, “Superstar Shit”, “Florida”, among others. With this, American singer Dominic Fike became the first American singer and rapper to appear on the “Fortnite Live Spotlight Concert Series.”
