Who is Denisha?

Denisha Audifred García, better known only as Denisha, is a famous singer, actress and reality show star who rose to fame for having participated in La Academia 2011, placing number 16 in the competition. Denisha was born on June 11, 1982 in Torreón, Coahuila and in 2021 she became a participant in TV Azteca ‘s Survivor .

Beginnings in Denisha’s life

From a very young age , Denisha knew that she wanted to dedicate herself to anything that had to do with music and appear on television, taking advantage of any opportunity that life gave her to be able to play her taste in music, thus being her first steps in the medium. of the show they appeared in some plays such as Hairspray and even acting in a chapter of the Telemundo Caso Cerrado program .

We could meet the now famous singer Denisha when she became one of the contestants of La Academia 2011 or also known as La Academia 3D . In this season the director was Eduardo Capetillo, under the leadership of Rafael Araneda and also ex-Timbiriche  Bibi Gaytán , while the panel of judges was made up of Lolita Cortés, Chacho Gaytán and Arturo López Gavito .

From the first concert , Denisha proved to be one of the best singers of all the competitors and soon won the love of many people not only for her great talent but also for her endearing personality. Some of the songs that Denisha performed during her time at La Academia were ” Fall in love with me, Make love with another, What happened to us?, Lies, I will survive, Let me come back to you, Instead”, among many others, but finally Denisha He left the competition in concert 14, before announcing the result of the duel to the death in which he lost, thus staying with a well-deserved sixteenth place in the entire competition.

After her time at La Academia, Denisha began to have great opportunities on TV Azteca where we were finally able to see her leading some programs such as  “Ellas Arriba”, “Venga la Alegría”, “Musicales Olímpicos Londres 2012”. She was part of the series “Caipirihna Sunrise ” and also tried the honeys of acting in two soap operas: “Corazón en Condominio” and “Quererte Así”.

Corazón en condominium was a Mexican telenovela broadcast on TV Azteca in 2013 which featured stellar performances by Cynthia Rodríguez , Víctor García,  Omar Fierro , among others. Denisha was part of the cast having a small role in the main plot and played “Evelia”.

In mid-2018 Denisha was chosen to be one of the hosts of the program “El Chanclazo” that was broadcast on the A+ channel of TV Azteca, a magazine program format where different topics were addressed, but which also had different sections such as comedy and cooking “We are very happy because every day we are doing better, people are becoming fond of the program and we receive very good comments on social networks, I also have other activities and I can combine everything ”, Denisha commented at that time about how happy she was Being part of the main cast of “El Chanclazo”.

Among other great achievements that Denisha has had throughout her artistic career, they have been singing in the Tribute to José José, directed by maestro Beto Castillo, being a chorus girl for great musical figures such as Enrique Guzmán, Angélica María and Flans, among much others. In addition , Denisha became a judge in the program “Todos quieren fama” sharing with  Apio Quijano ,  Valeria Cuevas , Roger González and La Chupitos .

In mid-2020  Denisha returned to music after several years of absence to premiere the song “Volverme a enamorar” , a song that she assured had been saved for a few years since she wrote it but finally knew it was time to make it known to all the world. “After so many years I was encouraged to take out this song that I wrote two years ago, to explore that side of my career, I took advantage of these times that we are going through confinement, to take out this happy song, for a beautiful love and to be happy and dedicate it to who makes us feel beautiful ”, Denisha commented at that time.

After the success of the first season, which earned the acceptance of many viewers, Survivor Mexico returned in 2021 with a new version where, unlike the first season, it would be “famous” who would be participating in this TV Azteca reality show, experiencing lack of food, great tests and above all trying to survive extreme and precarious situations; Denisha was one of the participants of Survivor Mexico 2021.

When Denisha left for the Survivor beaches on her social networks, she shared a message assuring that she was very happy to be part of this new project in her life: “I am convinced that we come to this life to fill ourselves with experiences and learning. Today with all the love and claw I accept the challenge of returning to the essence. It won’t be easy, I know, but what a father! I want to enjoy every moment that I have to live and show myself that I am made of. I go straight and I don’t take off and you come with me.

The cast of Survivor 2021 was made up of Kristal Silva , Denisha , Cyntia González , Bella de la Vega , Alejandra Toussaint , Brissia , Bárbara Falconi , Tania Niebla , Natalia Alcocer , Adianez Hernández , Aranza Carreiro and Daniela Torres on the women’s side, while the gentlemen were Dennis Arana , Pablo Martí , Gabo Cuevas , Gary Centeno , Daniel Cortés ,Julio Barraza , Eduardo Barquín , Jorge Ortín , Guillermo Dorantes , Sergeant RAP , Paco Pizaña and Carlos ‘Chicken’ Muñoz , while the driver was the famous commentator Carlos Guerrero “El Warrior” . For this program they all traveled to the Dominican Republic, for its crystal clear waters and the vegetation it possesses but above all taking the pertinent sanitary measures since the coronavirus pandemic was still going on at that time.

From the first week the Survivor program reached very good audience levels, even surpassing the first season , as if that were not enough, the program that competed with it on Televisa “Inframundo” was canceled just two weeks after its premiere due to the failure that resulted.

In the first week in Survivor, the one who was eliminated was the journalist  Gabo Cuevas who had conflicts with his colleagues because he was apparently very “honest”, but without a doubt the one who drew a lot of attention and stole the spotlight was “Bella de la Vega” who without Undoubtedly, she gave the program a lot of ratings due to her peculiar way of being but not so nice to her colleagues who always nominated her but she was even able to take out Daniela Torres , until in the third week finally ” Bella de la Vega ” was eliminated.
