Carla Patricia Morrison Flores, better known in the world of musical entertainment only as Carla Morrison, came into the world on the date of July 19, 1986 in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico. Her parents are Hilario Morrison and Porfiria Flores, both of Mexican origin. It is our knowledge that her father’s last name before her was Viera, but when he was adopted by William Guy Morrison, he changed his last name.

Since she was a child, the now famous singer Carla Morrison showed an interest in the world of the arts, particularly music; That was how she moved to Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 17, where she began studying music at Mesa Community College.

So, among her teachers, she met David Barrios, with whom Carla Morrison  began to present her first compositions, adopting the artistic name of Babaluca; It was then that she formed a band with Nick Kizer and Nichole Petta, who in a very short time became famous locally.
