Just one day later, Ozge Simsek found support from famous actress Hande Ataizi, who claimed that she, too, had been bullied by actor Talat Bulut . According to his words, the attack occurred in the same way during the filming of another Turkish series, but more than 20 years ago, when the actor invited him to go to his room at dawn under the pretext of “going over the script”, however, once she found herself there, Talat suggested that they go swimming in Lake Van right then. In her own words, she is very proud that there is a whole movement against sexual harassment in our times: “Now there is a rebellion going on against sexual harassment all over the world, and women are braver. My congratulations to this girl”said Ataizi referring to Simsek and the #Metoo movement.

Two weeks later, more than 50 directors and producers of famous Turkish television series supported the young woman and announced that they were not willing to hire anyone who was accused of sexual harassment or abuse, clearly referring to Talat Bulut, who spoke to the respect denying all charges, according to his lawyer for “lack of evidence.” This is how a statement appeared that said: “The prosecutor’s office investigated all aspects of the matter, and heard from both parties and witnesses before deciding that there was not enough evidence to raise a strong enough suspicion to start a public case.”Although we must point out that the defense indicated that the statement was contradictory, since the testimony of another victim had been reconsidered, whom the Council of State indicated as “sufficient evidence” to start the proceedings. a judicial process, which would be a scandal for  Talat Bulut.
