Due to her family’s precarious economic situation,  Rosario Murrieta left her parents’ home at the age of 17 to work as an administrative assistant and secretary in various law firms, and thus be able to pay for her high school studies. At the time of choosing her university degree, she was undecided on which path to take, since the Medicine degree caught her attention, but she finally studied Journalism and Collective Communication at the Faculty of Higher Studies of Acatlán of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). ).
