Who is Pablo Valentin?

Javier Ailec Paulino Duarte de Arrazabal,  better known by his stage name Pablo Valentín, is a famous Mexican film, theater and television actor who has excelled in a large number of projects, but without a doubt the most remembered is his character “Pedro Medina” in the Neighbors series. Pablo Valentín was born on July 13, 1972 in Zapopan, Jalisco and is currently considered one of the best actors on Mexican television.

Beginnings in the life of Pablo Valentin

Pablo Valentín was born in Zapopan, Jalisco, on January 7, 1972. It is considered that the beginnings of his artistic career took place back in 2002, when he began to participate in the sketch program XHDRBZ giving life to different characters . . A short time later, in the same year, he joined the cast of the television series registered in the comedy genre that became known as La Familia P.Luche, in which he gave life to the character of Rigo, a blind neighbor of the P.Luche where he shared credits with other stars such as  Eugenio Derbez ,  Consuelo Duval ,  Regina Blandón ,  Bárbara Torres , among others.

After some time, in 2004, he made his appearance at Hospital El Paisa as a nurse. Later, in 2006, he was in some episodes of the television program called Mujer, casos de la vida real. While the following year, in 2007, he was part of the cast of RBD: The family in the skin of Gustavo’s character. We cannot forget that it was also around these years that he began to appear in the television series called Vecinos as Pedro Medina, one of the most recognized projects for Pablo Valentín.

A short time later, in 2008, Pablo Valentín  played a forensic doctor in the series Mujeres asesinas, and was a suicide in SOS: Sex and other secrets. It was in this same year that he joined the cast of the telenovela known by the name of A hook to the heart with the character of Tano Rodríguez. In the same way, in 2008 we could see him in the short film titled Little Shoes.

The following year, in 2009 Pablo Valentín appeared in the series Los simuladores, as well as in the telenovela that was known as Sortilegio as a delegate, as if that were not enough, he was in another great television project, in the telenovela Los successful Pérez with the character of Sergio Mendez.

Subsequently, in 2010 and until 2011, he appeared in the telenovela To return to love in the skin of the character of Marcial, it was also in 2001 when  Pablo Valentín gave life to the lawyer Lara in La fuerza del destino. In addition to that he began to participate in As the saying goes.

Soon after, in 2012, he played Fernando Contreras in Por ella soy Eva. While in 2013 he was in the shoes of both Commander Alejandro Lazcano in Mentir para vivir and Argelio in Que pobres tan ricos. In the same way, we are aware that this year Pablo Valentín was nominated at the TVyNovelas Awards in the category of “best supporting actor” thanks to his excellent performance in Por ella soy Eva. We cannot ignore the fact that he was in the program called Nueva vida with the role of Martin.

Shortly after, in 2014, he gave life to Mario Hernández in the telenovela El color de la pasión. Already in 2015, he participated in Before dead than Lichita with the character of Gumaro Sánchez; while we were able to see him in La Rosa de Guadalupe as agent Cataño, and at the TVyNovelas Awards Pablo Valentín was nominated in the category of “best co-star actor” for his performance in the telenovela El color de la pasión.

Later, in 2016, we were able to enjoy his performance in the telenovela that was known under the title of Yago with the character of Abel Cruces. He also made his appearance in the theater with the play called Barataria, and again Pablo Valentín was nominated at the TVyNovelas Awards with the category of “best co-star actor”, this time for his participation in Before dead than Lichita. A short time later, in 2018 and until 2019, he was part of the cast of Por amar sin ley as Benjamín Acosta.

In the artistic career of the actor Pablo Valentín   during the past year 2020, he joined the cast of Overcoming fear with the character of Tulio Menéndez, in addition to the fact that we cannot ignore his participation in La mexicana y el güero in the skin of the character of Luis Ayala.

At the end of August 2020 and after several weeks of delay due to the coronavirus pandemic, the telenovela La mexicana y el güero premiered with touches of romantic comedy produced by Nicandro Díaz González for Televisa. The telenovela starred Itatí Cantoral and Juan Soler , along with Luis Roberto Guzmán , Laura Vignatti and Tania Lizardo in the antagonistic roles. In the telenovela “La mexicana y el güero” the story of a cunning con artist ends up madly in love with the man she intends to defraud. Other actors and actresses who also participated in the telenovela were Gala Montes ,Julio Camejo , Nora Salinas  and Irán Castillo , among others.

Regarding how the character of Luis came to join his artistic career, Pablo Valentín has commented that Nicandro, the producer of La mexicana y el güero, had already offered him roles on two previous occasions, however, he had not taken them since he was very busy with his schedule; being that he feels grateful to work again in comedy with a different character from the ones he has always played.

Undoubtedly one of the great successes in Pablo Valentín ‘s career  has been being part of the cast of the television series Vecinos which premiered in 2004 and its eleventh season premiered in 2021 where Pablo Valentín  from chapter one to the most recent has Pedro Medina played in Neighbors , that is to say that despite the fact that new actors have arrived and others have left , Pablo Valentín  has been in each and every one of the seasons, Neighbors being one of the most successful and important Televisa series.

In the series Neighbors, Pablo Valentín plays Pedro Medina , Luis’s roommate and best friend since high school. He is a rather idle, reckless, and immature man who deliberately spends his friend’s money on food, candy, and video games. The neighbors always talk about him and Luis being a gay couple. He always talks about an affair with Luis’s sister, which unleashes fury in his friend. In the Neighbors series , Pablo Valentín  shared credits with other great acting stars such as; Ana Bertha Espín ,  Mayrín Villanueva ,  Danny Perea ,  Octavio Ocaña ,  Roxana Castellanos ,  Manuel El Flaco Ibáñez , Markin López ,  Said Casab ,  Georgina Holguín ,  Macaria , Moisés Suárez , among others.
