Óscar Bonfiglio Ríos was born on July 22, 1959 in Mexico City. His parents were Óscar Morelli and María Eugenia Ríos, and we also know that he has a brother named Andrés, who works as a singer, and two other brothers named Gustavo and María Eugenia.

It is considered that the beginnings of his artistic career occurred in the year 1974 when he made his debut in the world of acting appearing in the field of theater.
