Who is Nio Garcia?

Luis Antonio Quiñones García , better known as Nio García, is a Puerto Rican singer and composer, an exponent of the urban genre who throughout his artistic career has achieved great musical successes such as Sin Panty, AM, Travesuras, La Mía, Volverte a ver, La jeepeta , among others. Nio García was born on April 3, 1989 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and has a daughter named Victoria Sofía that he had with his girlfriend Sheila Romano.

Beginnings in the life of Nio García

Luis Antonio Quiñones García, better known in the world of musical entertainment under the stage name of Nio García , was born on April 3, 1989 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, we must point out that he is also known as Che Robotico. He is to our knowledge that he grew up in a humble and very religious family.

At the age of 15,  Nio García began to dedicate part of his time to dancing, which would later become his profession, thus discovering his taste for music and the world of art. Since then, he began to stand out as a great choreographer, who created unique dance routines, especially in the musical genre known as “urban.” Later, when he began his studies in high school, Nio García  acquired a singing job, in which he created the concept of Showman.

After some time, he decided to adopt the artistic name of Nio García,  in this way it is considered that in 2012 he began his artistic career when he was part of Flowmusic, which is one of the most recognized urban music companies within the genre, with production by DJ Nelson.

The following year, in 2013,  Nio García was the protagonist of the film known by the name of Reggaetón The Movie, where he realizes the history of reggaeton in the 1990s and it would also be during this time when Nio García would be part of FlowFamily. While in 2015 he released to the public the single known as “Infinitely”, a theme that would later become a very outstanding audiovisual work. Since then, he has amazed the public, who were left with great expectations of his musical career, since shortly after it was published, the song exceeded 200,000 views.

In a recent interview, Nio García commented that he never imagined that he would have such an impact on music, but when his time came, he simply put everything aside to dedicate himself fully to music; “When this blew up months ago he took me by surprise…I didn’t know fame was going to come so fast. I mean, not that early, although I had been in the industry for a long time. So I decided to quit dancing to get into music hard. But yes, I did not expect it so soon as it happened ”.

And we cannot leave aside that throughout his musical career, Nio García  has collaborated with other artists who enjoy great recognition in the genre, such as some examples we can cite: Franco El Gorila, Pusho,  Ozuna , Anonymous, Jowell, Lito Kirino, Benny Benni, Darkiel, Anuel AA , to name just a few. Later, in the same year 2016, Nio García  released the songs titled: “La Mía”, “Castigo”, “Cuéntame”, “Durísimo”, “Flow Movie”, “Who are you”, and “Volverte a ver ”.

In the same way, it is our knowledge that in 2017 Nio García  collaborated with the famous artists Bad Bunny , Nicky and Jam,  Darell , and Casper Mágico , together with whom he presented the song that was known as “I threw you away”. . We cannot ignore the fact that it was also during this time that he lent his voice to songs such as: “Ojos que no ven”, “Te vas a arrepentir”, “Who would say”, “Pam Pah”, “Bad”, “Wishes” , “A safe horn”, “Listen baby”, “He wants to smoke”, and “A signal”, to mention just a few examples. We cannot forget that in 2017 he also presented the songs known under the titles: “My wife”, “El Azote”, and “Soy yo”.

While the following year, in 2018, Nio García  signed with the record label called Alofoke Music Group, on November 21 of that same year he released the song “Want to smoke” internationally on the YouTube Music platform.

A short time later, in 2019, it is our knowledge that he released the remix version of the song “Mírame” in collaboration with the artists  Darell , Myke Towers , and Casper Mágico .

And last year 2020  Nio García  presented the songs of: “Bandida”, “La Jeepeta”, remix version in collaboration with artists known by the names of Brray, Anuel AA , Myke Towers , and Juanka El Problematik.

We must highlight that the song “Jeepeta” in its remix version quickly became an international hit, ranking as one of the most important and most played songs throughout the year 2020. We cannot doubt this statement when looking at the figures that They show us the favorable results of the testing of this song, so that millions of views on YouTube were exceeded; while on the Spotify platform it reached more than 90 million views. We cannot leave aside that due to this great acceptance by the public, the song “Jeepeta Remix” became number 1 on the most successful reproduction lists in 13 countries, which placed Nio García as one of the songs most representative of the new school of reggaeton.This is how this song also came to be known as a “digital phenomenon”.

In mid-2021 , Nio García presented the songs “Sin Panty” in collaboration with Farruko, and the remix version of the song known as “Travesuras”, where he collaborates with the famous artists Wisin and Yandel, undoubtedly Nio’s success. García is unstoppable and in recent years the growth of his career has been noted with hits such as “Te Bote”, “Jeepeta” and “Mirame”, among other songs, as if that were not enough, at the end of 2021 he became the winner of the Lo Our under the Remix of the Year category with Jeepeta Remix in addition to renewing his musical and exclusivity contract with the Flow La Movie label, which was said to be a millionaire.

Regarding the love life of Nio García, he is married to Sheila Romano , to whom he dedicated a song in the past year 2020 in a very romantic gesture. What we know about it is that the song was titled “Para Mi Esposa” and was broadcast on the artist’s YouTube channel, moving his followers and the special person mentioned, who responded in a comment on his network account. Instagram social with the following words: Nio García: “I never thought I had anything serious, love is a mystery to me” Sheila Romano: “I already have it, I’m not going to return it.” Thank you for so much love, for the respect and dedication to the family that we form.
