Mónica Garza , who is currently one of the most famous conductors in Mexico, was born on April 12, 1966 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She is the daughter of Manuel Garza, former Secretary General of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) and María Teresa González Nassar.

In her childhood, Mónica Garza  liked to do different activities with her family, specifically with her father, such as riding a horse, singing and dancing. Other of the activities that she developed as a child was practicing ballet and she developed this activity until she was sixteen years old. In various interviews that  Mónica Garza conducted, she comments that her childhood was quite good and that since she was a child she has always sought what she is passionate about and what she loves.

At just a few years old,  Mónica Garza had to move to Mexico City because her father’s job required and demanded it. He studied for a degree in Human Sciences at the University Center of the Cloister of Sor Juana AC, however, he did not conclude these studies and went to live for more than two years in Paris where at “La Sorbonne” , the historic university of Paris, France with Internationally renowned in the area of ​​letters and humanities, he took the French civilization course and practiced and perfected the French and German languages.
