Who is Leo Deluglio?

Leonel Agustín Deluglio, who is better known as Leo Deluglio in the entertainment world, was born on May 27, 1990 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The now famous actor Leo Deluglio , has told in interviews that when he was a child he enjoyed making people laugh, and that at school he was always characterized by being the little joker in the room. However, he did not consider that he had a vocation as an actor in those times, but that acting came into his life by chance; when after much insistence due to his physical good looks, he decided to go to a casting for an Argentine youth production. It would be after this experience in his teenage years, when he would feel in love with the world of acting.

It is considered that he began his artistic career when in 2008 the opportunity to act in the youth soap opera known as Patito Feo came into his life , where he was in charge of giving life to the character of Viny, who appears in the second season of the production.

The soap opera  Patito Feo where  Leo Deluglio  participated premiered on April 10, 2007 and ended on November 3, 2008, also due to its great success it was nominated for the Emmy Awards.

In 2009 Leo Deluglio  participated in the television series known as Champs 12 , in which he gave life to the character of Matías Rey. We are aware that this production was aimed at a youth audience, and the actors in charge of interpreting the protagonists were Liz Solari and Tomás de las Heras.

It would be in 2011 when we would see him act in the original Disney Channel television series known as Cuando toca la campana , giving life to the character of Miguel, in a plot that tells us about the experiences of a group of teenagers trying to have fun when the bell rings for recess. Leo Deluglio would be participating in this television series until 2013.

It would be in the year 2014 when Leo Deluglio  would receive the opportunity to travel to Mexico to work in a modeling agency, being in this way that he was amazed by the beauty of our country and the opportunities for actors from Latin America. Two years later, in 2015, Leo Deluglio would  participate in the Mexican television program called Como dice el dicho , giving life to the character of Nicolás and Santiago in the episode known as “All that bleaches is not flour .”

The following year, in 2016, Leo Deluglio would  participate in the telenovela known by the name of La Doña, a Telemundo production based on the novel by Venezuelan writer Rómulo Gallegos entitled Doña Bárbara; here, Leo Deluglio would give life to the role of Diego Padilla Puertas, a recurring character, in this novel he shared credits with  Danna Paola ,  Rebecca Jones , Fátima Molina , David Zepeda , among others. 

During the year 2017 we could enjoy his performance in the original television series of the Nickelodeon channel known as Vikki RPM , where he played the role of the character named Iker Borges. It would be in this same year when Leo Deluglio  would appear in the original Telemundo television series known under the title Milagros de Navidad , in which he stood out for his interpretation of the character of Benjamín Sánchez in chapter 7 entitled “Adiós Benjamín ”.

In 2018  Leo Deluglio would be participating by embodying the character of Ángel, nicknamed “El Killer ” in the telenovela known as Y mañana será otro día , a production of which we are aware that Carlos Moreno Laguillo was in charge of the company Televisa; and that it is an adaptation of the original Chilean telenovela known by the title Count on me, which was created back in 2009 with the authorship of José Ignacio Valenzuela. Leo Deluglio had great entertainment figures here as castmates such as Angélica Vale, Diego Olivera, Alejandra Barros, Luis Hacha, Ana La Salvia, Ana Layevska, to mention just a few.

Who killed Sarah? was a drama and suspense television series produced by Perro Azul for the Netflix platform, released in March 2021, counting from the first week a tremendous success that finally became the most watched series in all of Mexico in its premiere week, for If that were not enough, just 10 days after its launch, a second season was confirmed. 

Regarding his participation in Who killed Sara?, Leo Deluglio commented that originally he did not intend to play the protagonist, but rather another character known by the name of Chema:  “I learned the whole scene, which was very long, where the character confessed his sexuality to another; And when I get to the casting, the director tells me: “we changed everything, we want you to play the main character because you look a lot like him, we just chose him. It was good because I was able to show them that he could make that change at the last moment because they are also testing you to see how much you stick with the modifications, they are things that happen. I had to learn the scene in two minutes, it was very long, I memorized everything and I was lucky that when I said it they liked it a lot.”

Regarding how the preparation to embody the character of Alex was, Leo Deluglio  recounted his coexistence with the actor Manolo Cardona, and confessed that perhaps the most difficult thing was to control both their accents (one Argentine and the other Colombian) since the character is Mexican.
