Beginnings in the life of La Santa Grifa

La Santa Grifa is the name of a musical group whose artistic career is considered to have started around 2013 in the neighborhood known as Santa Anita. At the beginning it only had three members, who respond to the stage names of: Yusak, Reghoz and Centavo, this is how they launched their first single called “Seguiré Fumando”, which is how the story of “La Santa Grifa” which curiously at that time called itself “Santa Grifa 213”.

A short time later, having problems with Reghoz , the member named Centavo made the decision to leave the group and it was then that they took the opportunity to make a small change to their stage name and it became only “La Santa Grifa”. It had not been long before they became part of the band: Waza, Miky, Tolderck and Bany who over the years were an important part of the history of the Mexican rap band.

Shortly after, in 2015, La Santa Grifa  presented their first album known under the title Santos Grifos Vol. 1 . While for the month of July of that same year Tolderck was reported missing, who apparently was “raised” when he was only 15 years old and to date his whereabouts have not been known again,  so his companions at one point They decided to dedicate the song titled ” Un Santo Grifo Nunca Muere “ to him .

The former member of “La Santa Grifa”, Tolderck, whose real name is Nadir Chávez, had suffered the death of a close friend on June 9, 2015, whom they watched over to later bury in the cemetery on the date of June 12. of June. It was that day when, leaving the funeral of his friend along with another colleague, they were intercepted by two trucks in which armed men came, who at gunpoint forced them into the trucks. Since then, the fate of Tolderck was no longer known , who never updated his social networks again. On the same June 12, 2015, Tolderck’s brother made a post on Facebook that said:“I ask you for a prayer for my little brother Tolderck Chávez who, just for doing what he likes, was seen in a bad way and has a bad opinion about him. He is a good-hearted boy who doesn’t mess with anyone or his songs. God protect me and may he be well.”

The next day, June 13, his father posted a photograph accompanied by a message urging his contacts to help him find his son. Subsequently, a series of false news began to be given, before which her family asked for respect and that they not lend themselves to spreading false rumors.

The group of ” La Santa Grifa ” had to continue with their musical career and in 2016, exactly in the month of January, they released their second studio album, which they titled Hasta donde se puede . It has been considered that it is in this same year when his fame began to take off, since his number of followers increased, in such a way that it is reported that an altercation occurred at an autograph signing due to the excitement of his fans for To see them, members of opposing gangs even came to sign autographs, who at around seven at night began to argue, in such a way that everything ended with a horrible brawl, which ended with the arrival of the authorities at the scene.

A year later ” La Santa Grifa ” 2017, they released the album entitled El Mal Ejemplo . It was around this same time that La Santa Grifa found themselves involved in a controversy when the news went viral that some of the members of the musical group entered a house improperly and beat the mother of the house and her children who they lived there , for which they were arrested and ended up in jail. However, soon after everything was cleared up as false news, so those who were in jail could be released the same day they were arrested.

The following year, in 2018, La Santa Grifa  made known to the public the various themes that were placed in the public’s taste such as:“Andamos de fiesta”, “Love you all night”, “La vida loca”, “Sueños de papel”, “Los griffos de la santa”, “Very late”, “Alma aimlessly”, “Everyone applauds him”, “Everything stays the same”, “First what he leaves”, “Compadrito”, “Los dejados”, “Nobody loves me”, “My need”, “The baddest”, “Where am I going to get to”; In addition to the famous album known by the name of Las chidas pal cuarto, which was composed of the songs of: “Las chidas pal cuarto”, “Nobody loves me”, “Everything remains the same”, “The baddest”, “My necessity”, “I live laughing”, “Compadrito”, “Los dejados”, “First what he leaves”, “Biscochologo”, “Alma aimlessly”, “Everyone applauds him”, “The taps of the saint”, “ Ladders and snakes” and “Where am I going to get to”.

A short time later, in 2019, La Santa Grifa stood  out for the publication of the song called “Malillon”, “Se confunden”, “Fly up”, “Glug, glug, glug”, “Dead while alive”, “Q lo t”, “With Chinese eyes”, “Don’t be screwing”, “It’s tired”, ”How to erase your kisses”, “I’m worth a mother”, “In my land”, “Madness accompanies me”, “ To you my lady”, and “Unknown number”, thus the song “En el espacio” with Tren Lokote also attracted a lot of attention .

In the artistic trajectory of La Santa Grifa there continued to be more and more successes and by 2020 they made the premiere of the music video called “De México Song” next to the Santa Fe Klan . The success of this launch was such that they managed to position themselves at number four in the trends on the YouTube platform. A short time later they collaborated again with the Santa Fe Klan , this time with the song known under the title “Sueños de Barrio”; In the case of “De México Song” it was released on September 15 on the occasion of the celebration of national holidays, adding to a list of 15 singles released in the same year 2020, among which the titles of: “Locos en el Barrio”, “Similar to me” and “There is a void”.
