Gerardo de Jesús Velázquez Molina, better known as  Jerry Velázquez, is a famous series actor and dubbing actor who has participated in various projects such as Me caigo de risa, Con Lugar, Violetta, Caer en Tentación, among many others. Jerry Velázquez was born on March 30, 1990 in Mérida, Yucatán and also has a great career as a dubbing actor giving life to emblematic voices such as Aladdin, Cars, The Muppets, among others.

Jerry Velázquez was one of the 18 participants of the TV Azteca reality show “Disney High School Musical: the selection” which had the purpose of finding the protagonists of said film, the program was presented by  Roger González  and María Inés Guerra. Although Jerry Velázquez proved to have all the skills to be the protagonist and winner of the reality show, he ultimately could not reach the final, but he was fortunate enough to appear on the reality show album and be part of the tour. He would later appear in some plays such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Hairspray, but this would only be the beginning of his great and successful artistic career.
