Flor Rubio was born on August 5, 1971 in Mexico City. She always had the desire to become a great journalist, so when the time came to decide, she did not hesitate and  Flor Rubio  studied Journalism and Collective Communication. at the National Autonomous University of Mexico; The beginning of her artistic career for Flor Rubio was  when she began to make herself known in entertainment journalism, a career that has consolidated her as one of the most recognized figures on radio and one of the most identified faces on television. mexican.

This is how  Flor Rubio dabbled as a reporter, announcer and scriptwriter in the entertainment press and little by little her persona gained strength within television and the mass media.

Flor Rubio worked successfully as a journalism professor at the Faculty of Journalism at UNAM. Shortly after, the opportunity came into her life to be Chief Information Officer of the Tele Guía magazine, which was published by the Televisa company.

A short time later , Flor Rubio  was deputy director of the entertainment magazine Mi Guía, which is the correspondent in our country for the magazine known by the name of TV Guide in Spanish, which we know was published in New York, and also of the magazine known under the title of Mira Magazine, which was published in Miami.

Later, around the year 2002, Flor Rubio received a call to be the head of information for the television program known as La Oreja and whose great success in its performance resulted in her receiving the position of host together with José Origel and Verónica Gallardo.

La Oreja was a show and gossip program of the Mexican show business broadcast between 2002 and 2009 by Televisa through the Galavision channel (channel 9) and, later, by the Canal de las Estrellas; In the latter, a Saturday version entitled La Oreja Caliente was also broadcast since the program was so successful that it had several alternate programs and lasted up to 3 hours a day. At first it was led by Juan José Origel, Mara Patricia Castañeda and Verónica Gallardo; and in a humor section with  Raquel Garza with the character of Tere “the secretary” which was very emblematic for the program, however after 7 years on the air it was canceled after not being able to with the program “Ventaneando” with  Pati Chapoy .

Later, Flor Rubio was in charge of the television program in the entertainment sector known as Fórmula Espectacular and has the same position on Radio Fórmula and Tele Fórmula, where after its great success she also consolidated her program on weekends. week called “Sunday Formula”; although he continued to appear on TV but sporadically. 

After leaving La Oreja, Flor Rubio dedicated herself fully to her work as a radio announcer until she had another opportunity on television at Imagen Televisión in the morning show “Sale el sol”.

Although Flor Rubio has always been characterized as a host and journalist, she has also had special participation in soap operas, some of the melodramas in which Flor Rubio came to appear at certain times of her professional career on television were; Zacatillo, a place in your heart, Chameleons, Hospital el paisa, Rebelde, La Parodia, Clase 406 and Mundo de Fieras, among others.

In November 2018, and after the few opportunities that existed at Televisa after announcing several changes and staff cuts, Flor Rubio decided to go to the house across the street and sign a contract with TV Azteca to join their emblematic morning show “Venga la alegría” where she would share credits with Sergio Sepúlveda , Annette Cuburu , El Capi , Roger González and Patricio Borgetti , Kristal Silva , Los Destrampados , Laura G , among others, especially her to give the news of shows.
