Eugenio Siller Margain better known only Eugenio Siller is a famous actor of series, novels and movies who has stood out in projects like Who killed Sara?, Blind trust, Who is who?, Jesus of Nazareth, among others. Eugenio Siller was born on April 5, 1981 in Tampico, Tamaulipas and also has a successful career as a singer.

Beginnings in the life of Eugenio Siller

Eugenio Siller Margain was born on April 5, 1981 in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico. His brother is also an actor and at the same time works as a singer, he is known as Edmundo Siller.

Eugenio Siller  began his artistic career participating in commercials, appearing in musical comedies and also in plays. We know that Eugenio Siller was a member of the musical group Klishé since 1998. He participated in the OTI Festival with this group, and released two albums in 1998 that earned him some awards. We know that these discs had the titles of “With devotion” and “Violent love”.

The following year, in 1999, the Klishé group was recognized by the Heraldo de México as “revelation youth group of the year”, being one of their first great successes for  Eugenio Siller.

Later , Eugenio Siller  would go to live for a while in Italy, a country in which we are aware that he worked collaborating with different very distinguished clothing brands. Then he would go to Miami, where he would continue his professional preparation as an actor and musician. Later he would return to Mexico with the objective of studying acting at the Televisa Center for Artistic Education (CEA) , where he entered in 2002 and successfully graduated in 2005.

In the year 2005 and until 2006 Eugenio Siller  could be seen as part of the cast of the successful youth soap opera that set trends, known by the name of Rebelde in which he would give life to the character of Luciano Mendoza. During the year 2006 and until 2007 he would be in the telenovela known with the title of Postal Code with the character of Rafael Rojas Alonso. Shortly after we would see him giving life to the character known by the name of Alejandro Belmonte Arango or Alejandro Miranda Arango in the telenovela Al diablo con los guapos, which was broadcast from 2007 to 2008.

In 2009 Eugenio Siller  appeared in My Sin with the role of Julián Huerta Aldama, nicknamed “Chamuco” where he shared the leading role with Maité Perroni . And also, we cannot forget that during 209 he was nominated for the TVyNovelas Awards in the category of “best youth actor” thanks to his performance in the telenovela Al diablo con los guapos alongside César Évora . In addition to that also during this year, People en Español magazine included his name in the list of “The 25 most handsome men.”

During the following year, 2010, and until 2011, he would be Martín Lobos and Lorenzo Lobos as a young man in the telenovela known by the name of Aurora . Soon Eugenio Siller  would be giving life to the character of Cristóbal Parker Salas in A maid in Manhattan. In addition to the fact that People en Español magazine recognized him in the list of “The 50 most beautiful”.

We cannot leave aside in his artistic career that he was nominated in 2010 for the People en Español awards in the category of “best actor” and “best couple” alongside Maité Perroni ; and he would be the winner with the category of “best youth actor”; all this thanks to his interpretation in the telenovela My sin. Eugenio Siller  would also obtain victory in these same People en Español awards with the category of “best actor” thanks to his performance in Aurora. During 2012 he would be nominated together with Litzy for the People en Español awards in the category of “best couple” , and would be a winner in these same awards with the category of “best actor”, all thanks to his character in A maid in Manhattan. .

In 2014 Eugenio Siller would  play the role of Javier Bolívar and Nicolás de Rosas in Reina de corazón , where he shared credits with Paola Núñez , Juan Soler , among others, a production that would earn him a nomination at the Tu Mundo Awards in the category of “Best Actor” in 2015. While in 2016 he would be the winner together with the actress Danna Paola of the same Tu Mundo Awards with the category “the perfect couple”, thanks to the excellent interpretation that both made of their characters in ¿ Who is who?.

In 2017 Eugenio Siller  would make his appearance on the big screen with the character of John O’Donnell in the film Blind Trust . And 2019 would be a very active year for Eugenio on the big screen, because in the first place we could see him playing John the Apostle in the film known as Jesus of Nazareth , then he would be as Esteban Martínez in the blockbuster production titled Tod @s fall , and finally he would give life to the character known by the name of Mecha in the movie Super firefighters, in this movie he shared credits with  Omar Chaparro , Claudia Álvarez , Consuelo Duval , among others.

Eugenio Siller does not let his passion for his artistic career pause for a moment. This is how he has raised the image of Mexican actors by appearing on North American television programs such as the Ellen DeGeneres Show, in which he stood out for sharing with the host of the program, Ellen, aspects of Mexican culture, particularly we know that during the broadcast gave him Spanish classes and offered him a taste of tequila.

It is worth noting the attitude of prevention and social responsibility that this excellent actor and human being has taken in the face of the health crisis that began in 2020, since it is known that he refrained from leaving his home in Los Angeles and that he was waiting of new projects, whether television or cinematographic.

Who killed Sarah? was a drama and suspense television series produced by Perro Azul for the Netflix platform, released in March 2021, counting from the first week a tremendous success that finally became the most watched series in all of Mexico in its premiere week, for If that were not enough, just 10 days after its launch, a second season was confirmed. 

In the series Who killed Sara? The story of Alex Guzmán (Manolo Cardona) was addressed, who after being imprisoned for several years is released, dedicating himself body and soul to discovering who was the person who killed his sister Sara, but the search for the truth leads him to face several situations that will endanger not only his integrity but his life, but finally he will wish he had not sought revenge after learning who really killed his sister Sara. 

In the series Who killed Sara? Eugenio Siller played José María “Chama” Lazcano , he also shared credits with other great acting stars such as Manolo Cardona, Manolo Cardona, Ginés García Millán, Carolina Miranda, Claudia Ramírez, Alejandro Nones, Eugenio Siller , Ana Lucía Domínguez, Luis Roberto Guzmán , Fátima Molina , Juan Carlos Remolina, Iñaki Godoy , Héctor Jiménez, Ximena Lamadrid, Leo Deluglio, Polo Morín , Andrés Baida, Marco Zapata, Ela Velden  and Litzy.

“I am extremely concerned about all this violence because I think it comes from the idea that there is a weaker sex. It is not possible that in the 21st century we are experiencing this type of thing against women. I am very pleased that there are marches and protests against the violence that has occurred… In my house they taught me to respect women and the principle that we all deserve respect equally. Both with the fans and with my colleagues, I am governed by that and by self-love, when you do not respect yourself is when you harm others…”, commented  Eugenio Siller.
