Curiously, in March 2020, when the coronavirus pandemic forced Televisa to stop recording all its projects, they decided to broadcast the first season of Reto 4 Elementos as they did not have new programs to show on television.

In June 2020, the Televisa reality show ” Guerreros ” premiered under the production of Magda Rodríguez. The hosts chosen for this program were Tania Rincón , who joined Televisa after spending several years on TV Azteca in “Venga la Alegría” and Mauricio Barcelata , who had decided to leave Imagen Televisión and his program “Sale el sol”, to have a chance on Televisa.
