Axel Ricco is a famous Mexican music producer and film, theater and television actor well remembered for his character “El ciego” in the novel “Por amar sin ley” , but he has also participated in many others such as; Vencer El Miedo, La jefa del campeon and Contigo Sí. Actor Axel Ricco was born on June 10, 1979 in Mexico City and is also known for being the brother of actress Carina Ricco .

Beginnings in the life of Axel Ricco

Axel Ricco was born on the date of June 10, 1979 in Mexico City. His sister is Carina Ricco , who was the wife of the late actor Eduardo Palomo; His parents were musicians and along with his sisters, Axel Ricco sang and did musical shows with them, so he always had a great inclination for music.

However, thanks to the support of Eduardo Palomo, he had his first great approach to acting because he always accompanied him everywhere he had calls as an actor, even to the point that Axel Ricco considered Eduardo Palomo his first great teacher of life and of the acting because I admired him a lot.

It is considered that the beginnings of his artistic career occurred back in the year 1992, when Axel Ricco  became part of the cast of the production known as Luchadores de las estrellas, in the skin of the character of Garoto.

Regarding the beginnings he had in acting, Axel Ricco has shared with the entertainment press that: “I had someone I love deeply as a teacher, he transmitted it to me, he was my brother-in-law, Eduardo Palomo, he always lived it with so much passion that left it to me, I have a lot of passion for what I do, I am lucky to be able to dedicate myself to this, I am a very happy man.”

A little later, in 2013, we know that he was part of the cast of productions known by the names of: Nueva vida, Como dice el dicho (in the skin of the character of Daniel), Corazón indomable (with the character of Aníbal) , and Actores SA We cannot ignore the fact that that same year Axel Ricco was a winner at the TVyNovelas Awards in the category of “masculine revelation” thanks to his excellent performance in the telenovela Corona de lágrimas.

Some time later, in 2015, we were able to enjoy his performance in El torito, where he gave life to the character of Jesus. While the following year, in 2016, he made his appearance in the productions called: Forward (as Marco), La voz de un sueño (with the character of Eduardo), What a pity your life (as Cabo) and Unfaithful Women 4 ( with the character of Mauricio), undoubtedly great successes in acting for  Axel Ricco.

Already in 2018 we saw him make his appearance in the successful soap opera known as Por amar sin ley in which Axel Ricco played the character of El Ciego . We must point out that this production is one of those that has marked his career, and which he has referred to in the media as a great experience with a very interesting character whom he really enjoyed playing:“I try to make it very real in each character, in the end there is no good or bad, we all have everything, including “El Ciego”, a character that I have enjoyed a lot because I have been able to give him depth, there are things that hurt him, he has a justification for why, not only does he do bad things for doing it, he somehow has a justification for the action he takes, I am very happy with the way people have received it, I am an extremely lucky guy.”

Curiously for Axel Ricco both the character of “El ciego” and “El pollo” were roles given to him by the great television producer “El güero Castro” which is why whenever he has the opportunity he thanks him for giving him that great opportunity.

In 2019 Axel Ricco became part of the team of actors of the telenovela Vencer El Miedo , where he was until last 2020 (when the melodrama broadcast ended) in the skin of the character of Lorenzo Argueta. About this production, the actor Axel Ricco expressed himself before the entertainment press with the following words: “It is a very beautiful story that vindicates the role of women in society, I am Lorenzo, a man who loses his wife and it is his turn to raising her daughter alone, a 13-year-old girl. It is a story that deals with the strongest problems of a society, such as machismo.”

After so many successes that Axel Ricco was achieving in his artistic career , in October 2021 another great project arrived from Televisa in the soap opera “Contigo Sí” which was highly anticipated because the soap opera that was on that same schedule “Designing your love” had not given the expected results.  The telenovela “Contigo sí” in which Axel Ricco  participated was a new modernized adaptation of the successful novel “Viviana”.
