Who is Thali Garcia?

Thalí Alejandra García Arce, better known only as  Thali García, is a famous Mexican actress of series and soap operas who throughout her career has stood out in important television projects such as “De brutas nada, A little bit of you, Las Buchonas, El señor de los cielos , Silvana without wool, The rich also cry”, among many more. Actress Thali García was born on March 14, 1990 in Hermosillo, Sonora and is currently the mother of two children Natalia and Andrés that she had with her husband Felipe Aguilar Dulcé.

Beginnings in the life of Thali García

Thali García is a Mexican actress who has also ventured into presenting programs and modeling. She was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, on March 14, 1990. Since she was a child, she was introduced to show business, when she participated in the Nuestra belleza infantil Sonora contest, in the year 2000.

The event that managed to put her in the public eye was her participation in 2007 in the Televisa reality show, called High School Musical: la selección, a kind of talent search for the Mexican version of High School Musical and in which  Thali García shared stage with singers who would later stand out on television and music like  Jorge Blanco .

Once that TV Azteca project was finished,  Thali García  decided to move to Mexico City to continue her fledgling acting career.

After this favorable debut in the world of acting,  Thali García had the opportunity to participate in her first telenovela “Secretos del alma”, a TV Azteca production in which, although her role was minor, she did not go unnoticed and the promoted for other types of projects.

Since that year, actress Thali Garcia  has pursued a wide variety of projects. In 2008, she had her first known job as a host, in this case for the Mexican version of the youth program called Nickers, produced by Nickelodeon Latin America. She repeated her work in 2011, when she worked on the TV Azteca program “Top ten”, a presentation of the most popular musical themes of each week. She only served as a presenter for one year.

Also in 2011 Thali García  continued with the television programs. She acted in the Mexican series Bienvenida Realidad, produced by Sony and Argos Comunicación and which is an adaptation of the Chilean series of the same name, which addresses adolescent problems such as sexuality or drug addiction.

In 2012, Thali García was present in the Mexican-American soap opera of Argos Comunicación, known as Rosa Diamante, in which she had a secondary but striking role. The following year, he achieved great success by participating in the Nickelodeon Latin America series known as 11-11: Nothing Blocks on My Block, in which a young man brings an older version of himself to life to find his mother, who mysteriously disappeared.

Her performance earned  Thali Garcia a Kids Choice Awards Mexico nomination for Favorite Actress for the same telenovela. At the same time, she began acting in the TV Azteca production Hombre tenías de ser, in which she obtained an incidental role.

In 2014, Thali García appeared in the series Reina de corazón, an American telenovela produced by Telemundo, and also served as an incidental character in the plot. The following year, she worked for TV Azteca once again at UEPA! A stage to love, a youth telenovela that enjoyed some popularity and in which  Thali García ‘s performance was positively received. Between 2016 and 2017, she participated again with Telemundo to give life to “Angie”, a character from the American soap opera Silvana sin lana who treats a mother of two daughters who is abandoned by a scammer, leaving her with nothing.

From 2018 to 2019, his participation in the well-known series Las Buchonas, from W Studios and Lemon Studios for Televisa, came to light. This time, Thali had the opportunity to have a leading role, giving life to Manuela, a woman seduced by the world of crime, power and money. She also played Bere, a character that appeared in the well-known series El Señor de los Cielos. Also in 2019, Thali García  was in Un poquito tuyo, a romantic comedy soap opera from Imagen Televisión and in which she shared credits with other stars such as  Solkin Ruz ,  Carlos Speitzer ,  Josh Gutiérrez , among others. 

On the other hand,  Thali García has also dabbled, albeit briefly, in cinema and theater. In the case of cinema, she participated in the short film Frecuencias, produced in 2011 by the Mexican Association of Independent Filmmakers, AMCI. Likewise, she agreed to be part of the small film project entitled Tomorrow I’m going to conquer her, by Danny Hastings and Gerardo Ortiz. 

Although very few people know , Thali García opened a YouTube channel where she was uploading blog-type content with the intention of getting closer to her fans and followers and even went so far as to make a video where Thali García confessed that she had a hypothyroidism problem . specifically Hashimoto’s disease.

On her YouTube channel, Thali García decided to return to music in 2021 and released the song “Por Accidente” in collaboration with Chino G.
