Sergio Mayer Bretón ,  better known as Sergio Mayer, is a famous Mexican actor, producer and politician who in 2016 decided to take a break from his acting career and show business to dedicate himself to politics as a MORENA militant and in 2018 managed to be a Deputy in the Congress of the Union of Mexico. Sergio Mayer was born in Mexico City and is currently married to  Issabela Camil with whom he had two daughters Victoria and Antonia, while he  had his first child  with his ex Barbara Mori From him Sergio Mayer Mori .

Sergio Mayer is a famous Mexican actor and now a politician  who has managed to stand out in each of the things that he proposes, he is an activist, actor, producer, currently, he is a federal deputy and president of the Commission of Culture and Cinematography of the City of Mexico, was born in the capital on May 21, 1966.

During his growth, his parents Rubén Mayer, a hard-working man, recognized in the field of livestock and Norma Bretón, a pillar of his education and personal development, were a great support throughout his life. Sergio Mayer has three brothers, Rubén, Helios and Gerardo, with whom he has managed to overcome the problems that have come their way in their lives.

It was in 2018 when Sergio Mayer would decide to enter politics and put aside his career as an actor because according to his words offered at that time he always had a great interest in that world and not so much in acting and the medium of the show; “I have been working on political issues for a long time. For example, five years ago I was appointed spokesperson for children’s rights in the Senate. In the upper house, as a citizen, I have participated with initiatives. I promoted the General Law on the Rights of Girls, Boys and Adolescents. With the issue of the right to identity, we managed to change the fourth article of the Constitution so that each Mexican obtains his first birth certificate free of charge. I am convinced that after the right to life, the right to identity is the most important. A person without a birth certificate cannot be taken to a hospital, nor can they attend a school. It’s a topic I’ve been working on for a long time.”

Sergio Mayer ‘s aspirations were set very high and together with the MORENA party “La Esperanza de México” he ran for a place in the Chamber of Deputies.

In the last elections of 2918, many celebrities threw themselves into the ring to begin or continue developing their political aspirations and although at first it was thought that the actor would be like one of those more who only stayed in the attempt, he showed that he really had everything to being a leader and holding public office, which is why Sergio Mayer finally won as a federal deputy with 45.12% of the votes .
